Yes, you are eligible for IES examination. For IES examination you have to fight UPSC examination and minimum eligibilty for UPSC examination is graduation in any stream from a regonised university. good Luck |

Well friend,
Any Graduate Can write IES i.e Indian Engineering Services and For writing the only criteria you must satisfy is you should be between 21 years of Age to 30 years of Age. Note: Union Public Service Commission notifies Engineering Services Examination, 2011 , there fore Check Employment news of dated (08 January 11 - 14 January 11) Good luck. |

No,a graduate from Chemical Engineering is not eligible for the IES examination.
The IES exam is only for the following category candidates Electrical,Mechanical,Civil,Electronics and Communication. Candidates having diploma/B.tech in the above mentioned courses,M.Sc degree with Electronics,radio physics,radio engineering as a specific subject can only attend this examination. |

Yes you can appear for it.
Indian Engineering Services(IES) exam also known as engineering exam. It is conducted by UPSC for selecting engineers for the public sector. You shld hv age between 21 to 30 years on the 1st august of the year of examination. No of times a student can appear for IES exam is as follows: General-4, OBC-7, SC/ST- No restriction |

Yes you can appear for IES but Chemical engineering paper is not listed in the category.If you wish to apply then you need to take any one of the engineering stream.
Eligibility criteria all engineering discipline are eligible,examination paper are selected for few stream only i.e. Civil,Mechanical,Eletrical & ECE. |

YES, Chemical Engineering Student can appear for IES exam. Eligibility for IES exam: - 1. Pass graduation in any subject or in any engineering stream or equivalent from a recognized Institute / University. 2. Nationality - Indian 3. Age - 21 Years to 30 Years for General candidates, 21 Years to 33 Years for OBC candidates and 21 Years to 35 Years for SC / ST candidates. Good Luck |

IES Eligibility Criteria
---------------------- Educational Qualifications : Degree in : • Electrical Engineering • Electronics & Communications Engineering • Civil Engineering • Mechanical Engineering or equivalent degree from recognized universities. • M.Sc. degree or equivalent with Wireless Communication, Electronics, Radio Physics or Radio Engineering as a special subject is also acceptable for certain posts. • Students of final year Engineering or equivalent degree are also eligible. Age Limits : Not less than 21 years and not more than 30 years as on August 1st on year of conduct of examination ( upper age limit relaxable for SCs/STs,OBCs and certain others ) How to Apply : UPSC applications are available for Rs. 20/- at notified post offices all over the country. Rs. 100/- (rupees one hundred only) through central Recruitment Fee Stamp only shall be attached. There is a fee exemption for SC/ST/Female/PH candidates. Please mark exam code as ENGG and not as IES. IES means Indian Economic service. Be careful in this aspect. Last date for application : Usually in the first week of March in year of conduct of examination (offline) Applications can be made online also. Sir. I have a bachelor degree in chemical engineering. I am also 21 year old. Am I eligible for IES 2013? I recently checked previous question papers and I found that there is no paper for chemical engineering. What does that mean?

Sir I am 21 years old. Can I write IES 2013 as I have a bachelor degree in chemical engineering. But what concerns me is that I saw previous question papers and I found that there was no paper related to my branch. Please help me out.
