No Girls are not allowed to sit for NDA Entrance as of now but the Girl candidates who are interested in Armed forces are having a good chance after completing their graduation.

After completing their graduation they will be allowed into OTA(Officers training Academy) Chennai through different entry schemes like

CDS or SSC which are abbreviated Common Defense services and Short service commission in this way the girl candidate are selected

and also they will have technical selection if the candidates comes from Engineering background

Till then you have to do one thing patiently that is wait for the right chance to enter in to any armed force and serve your mother land

Girls can't appear in NDA exam.

The eligibility criteria of NDA-

Age limit-

The age of the candidate must be at least 16 1/2 years and not more than 19 years on January 1st or July 1st of the year subsequent to the year of the exam.

Education Qualification-

The candidates who have completed class 12th and the candidates who are going to appear for the class 12 or its equal exam are also eligible to submit an application for NDA exam.

Candidates who are appearing for the NDA exam must be unmarried males.

Some Information About NDA(II) which is to be Held this year are given Below-

Date of complete 7-9 pages Notification in Employment News: 09.04.2011
Last date for reciept of application: 09.05.2011
Date of NDA(II) Exam: 21.08.2011

I am sorry to say that there is no allocations for girls to apply for the NDA exam as far regarding the criteria's framed by NDA.

NDA is National Defence Academy and the exam is conducted by UPSC and the eligibility needed for this exam exam are:

• The candidates must be a citizen of India.
• The candidates must be a unmarried male candidate.
• The candidates must have a age limit of 16 1/2-19 years.
• The candidates must have finished their respected +@ from a recognized board.

Only unmarried male candidate areapply for this exam.
which have a age between 16 to 19 and half years.

so, you have to try in the other officier department.
you are not eligible for the NDA.

Girls are not allowed to write national defense academy exam conducted by union public service commission. However, if you are a graduate, you can write combined defense service exam, which is also conducted by UPSC for recruitment in all the three defense services:
Indian Army
Indian Navy
Indian Air Force

Since you are a girl candidate and are not eligible for NDA, you must try to complete your graduation and write CDS exam.

NO,girls are not eligible for NDA exam

you can join indian army if you are interested after doing graduation through CDS which is conducted twice a year by UPSC like that of NDA exam

no. girls can not apply for nda exam .
but you can get into army field if you have qualification which i have attached

NDA is allowed for both male and female member but some criteria should be filledup by condidate.
There is only sciense side maths group students are aplicable for entry form.
Girls also can apply CDS exam for god interest in defence job.

If you are fit in medical,physical the you can be select but there will be written and SSB also.
