You can appear for the IBPS Bank Clerk entrance exam but not for the IBPS Bank PO. The criteria for the Bank PO has recently been changed which will be enforced from the entrance exams scheduled to take place later this year.

From no percentage criteria for Bank PO, now it is 60 percent marks in graduation. This rules you out from appearing for the IBPS Bank PO entrance exam. Therefore you can only apply for the IBPS Clerk entrance exam.

This exam is conducted twice a year. It has already been concluded once but it is expected to take place again some time towards the end of the year. It is important to read the notification released carefully to register for the exam properly.

To become a Bank PO or Clerk you must pass Graduation from a recognised University.

For IBPS PO you must have 60% marks in Graduation and for IBPS Clerical there is no percentage criteria.

SBI PO also doesn't have any percentage criteria and you must be only Graduation from a recognised University.

Age must be between 21 to 30 years if you are General category candidate. There is age relaxation available for other categories.

SC/ST - 5 years relaxation

OBC - 3 years relaxation

PWD - 10 years relaxation

The selection will be based on the marks in the written examination and personal interview.

The objective type test will have sectional cut off means you have to pass in each and every section. Also you have to clear the overall cut off. There will be negative marks for every wrong answer which will be 0.25.
