Can I appear for CTET exam after BSc and B.ed?
I am B.Sc. B.Ed.(2000) and has got 11 years of teaching experience. Am I required to give CTET Exam. If yes when can I appear for the next exam as i have missed the exam conducted on 26th July.

yes you can apply for it.......
and yes again because you have missed the exam date......... and the date for next year exam is not yet declared................. so have a regular check for you examination date of CTET.... |

Hai,
Yes, You can appear for CTET exam. CBSE conducted Central Teacher Eligibility Test - CTET test The CTET exam conducted annually. Validity Period For certificate - seven years for all categories. There is no restriction on the number of attempts for a person. A person who has qualified CTET may also appear again for improving his/her score. CTET Applicability: 1.The CTET shall apply to schools of the Central Government (KVS, NVS, Tibetan Schools, etc) and schools under the administrative control of UT of Chandigarh and Andaman & Nicobar Islands. 2.CTET may also apply to the unaided private schools, who may exercise the option of considering the CTET. 3.Schools owned and managed by the State Government/local bodies and aided schools shall consider the TET conducted by the State Government. CTET Eligibility: Minimum Qualifications for Classes I-V: 1. At least 50% marks and passed or appearing in final 2 – year Diploma in Elementary Education. Note: (i) Relaxation of 5% in minimum qualifying marks for SC/ST and Differently abled Candidates. Minimum Qualifications for Classes VI-VIII: B.A./B.Sc/B.Com with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in 1 – year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed) 1. A diploma/degree course in teacher education recognized by the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE) only shall be considered. 2.Diploma in Education (Special Education) and B.Ed. (Special Education), a course recognized by the Rehabilitation Council of India (RCI) only shall be considered. Note: Relaxation of 5% in minimum qualifying marks at BA/B.Sc./Senior secondary level is admissible for SC/ST and Differently abled Candidates. I think you can apply for it you have missed the exam date which is for next year exam is not yet declared yet .
So keep checking the date of CTET. Thank you |
