Re: Eligibility attempts to write JEE mains after passing 12th?
As per my knowledge and rule of government there are three consecutive attempts given to the children to appear in joint entrance examination after passing class 12th from non medical stream with at least 50% marks from recognised board. Age should be in between 17 to 25 years and relaxation is provided to reserved categories in upper age limit as per rules.

Re: Eligibility attempts to write JEE mains after passing 12th?
According to me the aspirant students are given only 3 attempts to appear in JEE mains and advanced after passing class 12th from approved board.
So you are eligible to appear in the exam for third time also. |

Re: Eligibility attempts to write JEE mains after passing 12th?
The maximum number of attempts allowed to appear in JEE Main examination is three times that too in three consecutive years after completion of your 12th standard. Since, you have dropped a year for JEE Main preparation, you have lost one chance and you are saying that you are not going to qualify at least this year i.e., JEE Main 2016 examination then, you will have one more last chance to appear in JEE Main 2017 examination.

Re: Eligibility attempts to write JEE mains after passing 12th?
There are 3 consecutive attempts available for JEE Main according to the notification. If you have applied once then you need to appear for exam in the next two years to utilise the attempts.
You can surely appear for the exam next year after passing the exam as you have all the attempts safe if you haven't applied for it previously. |

Those candidates who have completed 12th standard from a recognized board with physics, chemistry and mathematics with above 50% marks then you are eligible for JEE Main exam. 5% marks relaxation is provided for SC/ST category candidates.

Quote:
JEE is attended by candidates to get admissions in IIT, ISM. Candidates can attempt the exam for 3 times and more than that is not permitted. The exam consists of 2 papers which are Paper I and Paper II. The paper I is conducted for joining in B.E/B.Tech course and to join in B.Arch or B.Planning then you need to take on Paper II. Having completed on 2016 you can apply for JEE Main 2017 exam. |
