I completed 12th standard in 2015 and appeared for jee main 2015 but not attempted jee advanced beacuse i was not among the top 1.5 lakhs. If i appear for jee advanced 2016 and fail can i reappear for jee advanced in 2017?

Yes, you can appear in JEE Advanced exam 2017. The maximum number of attempts allowed to appear in JEE Main examination is three times.

If you have completed 12th standard with above 50% marks from a recognized university are eligible for JEE Main exam.

Your 12th standard subject must be Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry.

Your age should be in between 17 to 25 years.

JEE is the Joint Entrance Examination. This is one of the engineering entrance exam conducted by the Central Board of Secondary Education.

Information regarding number of attempts for both stages:

There are two consecutive attempts for the JEE advanced, one in the year you have done your 10+2 and other in the next year and three consecutive attempts for JEE mains which is the first stage.

So JEE mains in 2016 will be your second attempt and JEE advanced in 2016 will be the last chance for admission in IITs.

No dear you are not eligible to apply for JEE Advanced with more than two attempts. If you want to give more than two attempts then absolutely there is No way to apply for JEE.

Actually for all the candidates there is maximum of two attempts available for JEE Main's.

As you have complete all two attempts then there is No chance to reappear for JEE Main's again. So you just rethink of your future with alternatives.

For JEE Main'2016 , only the candidates who have completed 12th in 2015 and final year candidates of 10+2 are only eligible.

No you can not appear in the JEE ADVANCE exam third time. The total no. Attempt is available is only two consecutive.This consecutive means first attempt can be given with the class 12th and the second attempt just after the 12th year.

For an example if one has completed his/her +2 in 2010 then he has chance to appear in the JEE 2010 as well as Jee 2011.If he/she has not attempted the JEE 2010 then he can only attempt the JEE 2011.

So be aware and study wisely.Take the proper guidance and have the best study materials to study and do your best.

Dear sir, I passed 12th in 2016 from B.S.E.B.
but I didn't attempt jee advanced 2016/17 .
So I want to give 12th exam again in 2018 for attempt jee advanced 2017. Can I do this ?

Yes definitely you can do, See dear candidate if your attempting jee 2 times then the 3 rd is the last attempt for you until & unless you have to crack this chance as a golden opportunity.

Sir I had appeared in jee mains in 2017 but I met an accident and was bedridden for a year..and so I am giving my 12th boards this year in 2018 so if I don't pass jee advanced this year..can I give jee advanced in next year, it will actually be my second time
