The minimum age required to appear in JEE Mains and Advanced is 17 and maximum should not exceed 25 years where as relaxation of 5 years is given to SC /ST and 3 years to OBC and 10 years to physically challenged students.

No, you will not be eligible to write JEE in 2017 as you have passed 12th in 2012.

-One should have passed 12th class or equivalent in the year 2015 or 2016 or appearing for 12th examination in 2017 are eligible for the exam .

-The candidate belonging to open category must have born on or after October 1, 1991 and SC/ST/PwD candidate should have born on or after October 1, 1986 .

Why do you want to appear for Joint Entrance Examination when you are already in final year of Bachelor of Technology. JEE exam is conducted by Central Board of Secondary Education for admission in Bachelor of Technology in different government engineering colleges like IITs, NITs etc.

You can not apply for JEE exam in 2017 because candidates who have passed 10+2 in 2015 will be eligible for JEE Main in 2017 and those who passed 10+2 in 2016 will be eligible for JEE Main and Advanced in 2017.

It would be better for you to appear for Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering for M.Tech admissions in NITs or IITs as you are in final year of bachelor's degree.

The full form of JEE is Joint Entrance Examination.

Eligibility criteria:

*Candidate must have passed 10+2 from a recognized board or appearing for board exams.

*You must have studied PCM subjects in 10+2.

*Minimum of 50% marks required in 10+2.

*There are three consecutive attempts for JEE Main and two attempts for JEE advanced.

Since you have passed 10+2 in 2012, so there is no chance for you to appear for JEE 2017.

Sorry, you are not eligible to appear for JEE examination. JEE examination is conducted for admission of candidates in government and private colleges for B.tech/B.E/B.Arch course.

The examination is conducted in two stages and the maximum eligibility to appear for examination is thrice for Main and twice for Advance. So, candidate passed 10+2 are not eligible to appear for examination in 2017.

For more information about JEE examination visit at www.jeemain.nic in.

JEE stands for Joint Entrance Examination.
It is conducted by Central Board of Secondary Education(CBSE) once in a year for admission in Indian Institute of Technology(IIT) the best college of India for B.Tech/B.E in India and National Institute of Technology(NIT).
CBSE conducts JEE Mains and JEE Advance. JEE Advance score is used for admission in IIT while JEE Mains score is used for admission in NIT and also some state boards and private school also allow admission on basis of Mains score.

The student who have completed 12th boards examination in last 2 years or going to appear in 12th boards examination are only eligible to appear in JEE.

So, you will be not eligible to appear for JEE 2017 and even you are not allowed to appear in JEE 2016 as only the students who have completed 12th in 2014 or hence are eligible.
