i am interested to go for bank jobs.can i get sbi clerk or po post after persuing b.tech bioinformatics?currently i am in 3rd year b.tech bioinformatics....please tell me soon

to be a bank clerk u need to have passed 12th exam and for PO u should atleast be a graduate with 60%(for general ) on date of advertisement

HI! u must go with ur interest, u can prepare po exam with the help of coaching.but u must have 60% in graduation

if u r more interested in doing job u can surely go 4 it. there is absolutely no problem in that. eligibility requirements must b fulfilled ,such as ur 12th % and graduate %.min 5 is about 60%for both .go 4 it !!

hi for any bank job you must be a any recognised graduate with minimum aggreagate marks of 60%....so before applying you just check it out are you eligible for bank sector job .......

to apply in an bank job you just need to be an graduate it does not matter in which field you are from so you are surely eligible for bank jobs

ya u can apply recently SBI called for PO post..large number of posts r there..but prepare well for written test..it will be difficult one..all the best..

of course you can go for po as well as clerk exams of banks.
after 12th you can apply for clerk level exams and after graduation with 60% marks can go for PO exams.

i dont think its an great idea to go for an bank job after b.tech in biotechnology,it will be like wasting your four precious years for nothing,
you will have many opportunities in your field itself,according to me going for bank job after b.tech is an complete idiotic thing

hi can i apply for bank po b'coz my ug is b.pharm with 59.75%., and m.tech bioinformatics.74%,passed out 2010 and i like to write bank exams.,am i eligible fot it in NABARD and SYNDICATE bank coming po exams

Yes off course you can apply for the bank jobs. the basic eligibility for all bank jobs exam is 12th or graduation from any discipline of education.
So don't get confused about it, first you prepare and then apply.
You may apply many time before 25 age.

Yes, of course you can apply for both PO & clerk jobs.

Education Qualification for SBI clerk is:

(a) Minimum 12th Standard (10+2) or equivalent qualification thereof with a minimum of 60% marks (55% for SC/ST/PWD/XS)
OR
A degree from a recognized university (graduation level) with a minimum of 40% marks (35% for SC/ST/PWD/XS)

Education Qualification for SBI PO is:

Candidate should have completed their graduation with at least 60 % aggregate from the recognized University to be eligible for this course.

Candidate must be computer literate to be eligible for this course.

Right now, you are in 3rd year....

So you can apply for the clerical post.

After getting your B.tech degree, you can apply for the post of Probationary Officer.

Clerical post requires only 12th marks which should be above 60%.

And PO posts require graduation marks which should be 55% minimum throughout the graduation.

Are BTECH in Biotechnology (marks 60% above throughout) students after qualifying the exam recruited by bank for clerk and PO positions?
