Can I apply for Bank Po after passing graduation in general and higher secondary with 72%?
Sir/ Madam,
I am graduate under cacutta university in 2012. but i passed graduate in general. but in higher secondary exam i have scored 72%. my graduation scored not better. so, can i apply for bank p.o? if i passed ibps exam, can i applied for bank p.o? |

You are 100% eligible for applying IBPS PO's with your Qualification The Minimum Qualification for IBPS PO's is you must complete your graduation from any recognised university and you should be a citizen of India and your age between 20 to 30 years and relaxation for SC/ST/OBC candidates as per rules Exam Syllabus : - >> Reasoning >>Quantitative Aptitude >>English Language >>Computer Knowledge >>General Awareness all the best Regards......... P.O. - PROBATIONARY OFFICE exam conducted by SBI and IBPS(Institute of Banking Personal Selection) for 19 Public Sector banks as per their requirment.
Any Graduate from any stream from a recognised University, is eligible to apply for bank P.O. exam. There is no criteria of any percentage of marks in Graduation in applying for the same. One can not be eligible to apply for bank P.O. after securing 72% marks in Higher Secondary exam. Apart from academic qualification as Graduation, one is eligible to apply for bank P.O. if he must be an Indian Citizen. He should be within the age of 20 to 30 years with upper age relaxation for reserved candidate and he should have good knowledge over Computer. The selection is through written exam followed by personal interview. Eligibilty for the IBPS BANK PO exams:
Min educational qualifications is Graduation Pass with minimum 60% marks for the General and OBC Candidates and minimum 55% marks for the SC/ST candidates Age should be between 20 and 28 years OBC gets 3 years and SC/ST gets 5 years age relaxations Questions will be asked from the below sections in the IBPS PO Exams: Quantitative Aptitude Reasoning General Awareness with special reference to Banking Industry Computer Knowledge English Language Forms for the IBPS PO exams will be filled from 22nd July 2013 forms will be filled on website www.ibps.in |

Here is the eligibility for the exam. If you have the passing degree, you will b eligible. Age limit for Bank Exam 1.Open category or General category students must have between 18 to 26 years. 2.For SC/ST Students, 5 years relaxation provided as per the rules,so the maximum age could be 31 years 3.OBC Students can have up to 29 years 4.10 years relaxation for PWD candidates 5.Widows, Divorced women and women judicially separated can have up to 35 years 6.EXSM (Ex-Servicemen’s) relaxation will be Period of service in Defense + 3 years Education Qualifications required for Bank Exam 1.Intermediate/10+2/12 th class with 60% of marks for General category students and 55% for other category’s or 2.Any Graduation/Degree with pass marks Questions will be asked from the below sections in the IBPS PO Exams: Quantitative Aptitude Reasoning General Awareness with special reference to Banking Industry Computer Knowledge English Language All the Best |

PO exam have 19 public sector banks List 19 public banks: Allahabad bank, Andhra bank, Bank of baroda, Bank of india, Bank of Maharashtra, Canara bank, Corporation bank, Central bank of india, Dena bank, Indian bank, Indian overseas bank, Oriental bank of commerce, Punjab and Sind bank, Punjab national bank, Syndicate bank, UCO bank, Union bank of india, United bank of india, Vijaya bank. Eligibility Criteria: Nationality: You should be origin of India. Educational Qualification: You must have the Graduation from any recognized University. Percentage not required for this exam. Final year pursuing candidates are eligible for this exam. Age limit: Your age limit should be between 21 to 30 years.
