i have 49% in graduation can i apply for bank PO exams? Because my dream is to get a PO job in bank

Friend, sorry to say you can't apply for PO post . every bank has different
criteria for PO post. For SBI PO Candidate have completed their graduation with at least 60 % aggregate from the recognized University to be eligible for this course. And In other banks 55% .

yess you are eligible for BANK PO exam . because they want only passed graduate candidate. their is no marks criteria.

Applications are invited from eligible Indian Citizens for appointment as

Probationary Officers (POs) in Associate Banks of State Bank of India.

Qualification (As on 01/06/2011) : Graduation in any discipline from a

recognised College / University

Age Limit : Not below 21 years and not above 30 years .

Selection Procedure : Written Examination

Date of Written Examination : 07.08.2011 (Sunday)

Application Fee& Postage : (Non Refundable) Can be deposited from 02.06.2011 to

Bank Probationary Officers positions are in good demand these days.

Here is the eligibility criteria for bank PO jobs and it may slightly vary from one bank recruitment to other.

Age criteria :
-One should be in the age group of 21-30 years

Academic qualification :
-One should have completed his graduation with a minimum of 55% of marks.

Relaxation is there in age and even in percentage of marks also for the SC/ST candidates.

As you have secured 49% in your graduation, you will not be eligible to appear for most of the bank PO jobs.

But any way for some of the banks like SBI, the minimum eligibility is just a pass in graduation. You can apply for those type of banks.

Sorry dear but you are not eligible to sit for bank PO exam because most of the centralised banks recruit PO's who have atleast 60% in graduation .For most of the centralised bank this is the educational criteria to sit in PO direct if you wanted to be a promoted officer of bank then you have option.

Can I apply for bank PO exams with 54.2% in Matriculation, 45% in Intermediate and 51% in Grduation?

I've done graduation from ignou (couse is BTS-bechlor in tourism studies). can i participate for Bank PO exam if i've done grad. from a distance learning institution and not as a regular course.

Can I apply for bank PO exam with 45% in intermediate and 50% in graduation?

your not eligible for bank po examination because .

(Reason : you score below 60% percentage of marks in graduation)

Eligibility of Bank PO Exam :

The candidate should qualified in under graduation with 60% percentage of marks for commerce stream candidates and 55% percentage for science stream candidates from recognized board . The limit of the candidates should be 21 to 30 years . and relaxation period is given to the sc/st candidates for 5 years and other backward candidates for 3 years .

your dream is to get po job in bank . so don't worry first you can apply for post graduation and score good percentage of marks in post graduation and learn computer course in private class and develop your knowledge and the apply for the bank po exam . you definitely get the bank po job as you like .

Each bank has its own eligibility list for applying for PO exams. Most of the banks has the following as the educational qualification required to apply for Bank Po exam.

To apply for bank Po exam candidate should have completed their graduation with at least 60 % aggregate from the recognized University to be eligible for this course. But some banks accepts even just passed graduate you need to search for those banks and apply.

Dear Friend,
The eligibility criteria for the post of PO in Banks varies from bank to bank.
The general criteria to apply for the post of PO in Banks is that a candidate must be a graduate with 55-60% marks from a recognized Institution.
But there are some banks like SBI which just need graduates from a recognized Institutions.In such banks you can apply.
