Job eligibility for banks clerks in nationalised banks?


Sir i have completed my ba from andhra university distance education under non formal stream through bpp. I would like to know this is a valid degree for jobs in nationalised banks as clerks or not please reply

Yes absolutely eligible to apply for " Various bank recruitments " with your qualification. That means whether it is a Distance or normal mode you will have a eligibility to apply for Recruitment process. And one more thing there is No requirement of " Percentage of marks " of graduation.

To know the more details about the Notification of " Banking Exams " you can visit the Careers page of SBI and IBPS official Notification.

Eligibility Criteria of Bank Clerks :


>> You need to complete graduation from the recognized University with minimum percentage of marks.

>> Age should be in between 20 to 28 years for the post of Clerks.

>> Final year candidates of graduation can also eligible to apply for " Bank Exams "

>> There is a Age relaxation allowed for the reserved candidates.

Graduation degree from andhra university is valid and you are eligible for bank clerk jobs.
Eligibilities for bank clerks:
graduation from recognised university.
Age should be between 20 to 28 years.
For bank jobs it is not necessary to complete graduation in normal mode.graduation in correspondance is also valid.

Yes, you can apply for Nationalized(conducted by IBPS) and SBI bank.

Those candidates who have completed graduation degree from a recognized university are eligible for IBPS and SBI clerk exam.

Your age should be in between 20 to 28 years.

Those candidates who have completed graduation degree from a recognized university are eligible for IBPS and SBI PO exam.

Your age should be in between 20 to 30 years.

Having completed B.A you are eligible for applying for the clerical job as per the educational needed. The minimum qualification needed for applying for Bank clerk job is completed +2 from a recognized school board of education, but having completed degree you are eligible as per the educational qualification needed. There are other criteria's which are needed to be satisfied in order to apply for the exam and they are:

# Candidate should have a citizenship in India

# Age limit needed is 18-28 years for general category and there are relaxation for other category candidates.

# SC/ST candidate will get 5 years exception and for OBC candidates it is 3 years.

If you satisfy them all then you can apply for the exam.

The candidates are selected through 2 stages namely:
-> Written Test
-> Interview

The written test will be of:
  • General Awareness
  • General English
  • Quantitative Aptitude
  • Reasoning Ability
  • Marketing Aptitute / Computer Knowledge
