Can I apply for CAT to get admission in executive MBA? I am a MA English student from Madras University
Iam MA(English) from Madras University(distant mode) can I apply for cat to get admission to executive MBA? I am full time employed?

Hello,
First executive MBA is different from part time MBA or distance MBA. Executive MBA is usually for a year or 15 months varies from institutes to institutes.It requires work ex. If your are planning for executive MBA then go for some premier institutes. But for this you would need work ex of more than 3 year. CAT score wont help you much here, you need to appear GMAT for executive MBA. Whereas Distance or part time MBA is concerned, CAT is again not a requisite. CAT is required for admission in MBA/PGDM program for good institutes for a full time MBA course of 2 years. Further for MBA or appearing CAT graduation degree is enough with 50% marks.Your Masters in English may be a added advantage for you. Hope I answered your query |
