Hi Shruti,
The Eligibility to apply for the CSIR UGC NET exam is that the candidate should hold M.Sc or equivalent degree with 55% marks,in any one of these subjects: 1.Chemical Sciences 2. Earth Sciences 3. Life Sciences 4. Mathematical Sciences 5. Physical Sciences So as you have done M.Sc in food technology you are eligible to apply for CSIR-NET exam. best of luck... |

Hi you can write exam in biological science because the off of the portion u already studied in M.Sc , then u also refer biological books. and refer net for the syllabus.

yes you can applly for csir net & after completeing msc. Eligibility to apply for the CSIR UGC NET exam is that the candidate should hold M.Sc or equivalent degree with 55% marks. BEST OF LUCK. |

Hi friend,
Yes you are eligible for CSIR UGC NET EXAM as per the educational eligiblity criteria as you have M Sc. degree. Eligibility for CSIR UGC NET entrance examination: You Must have a M.Sc. or equivalent degree with minimum 55% aggregate marks And the final year Students of M.Sc. are also eligible to appear in CSIR NET exams. Age Eligibility Criteria - For Junior Research fellowship – You must be between 19 –28 years of age. For Lectureship – There is no upper age limit. You should be at least 19 years of age. |

CSIR UGC NET - COUNCIL OF SCIENTIFIC & INDUSTRIAL RESEARCH UNIVERSITY GRANT COMMISSION NATIONAL ELIGIBILITY TEST conducted by UGC for selection of Lectureship and award to Junior Research Fellowship(JRF).
The eligible candidate must be an Indian National having completed Post Graduation Degree with 55% marks from a recognised University with any of the following subjects can apply for CSIR NET exam:- MATHEMATICAL SCIENCE CHEMICAL SCIENCE EARTH SCIENCE PHYSICAL SCIENCE LIFE SCIENCE There is no upper as bar for those applying for Lectureship but those applying for JRF should be limited to 28 years. As you are a Post Graduate in Food Technology, you can apply for UGC NET exam. For more information you may log on to http://www.csirhrdg.res.in |
