I have completed M.Sc(Food Science & Technology)
Can I eligible for CSIR-UGC-NET?

If you have got at least 55% marks in your M.Sc degree from a recognized University then you are definitely eligible for CSIR/UGC NET. For reserved category candidates there is 50% marks required to become eligible.

You can apply for Life Sciences subjects if you have done Food Science and Technology Post Graduation. If you clear NET then it will be good for your career and you will be eligible for JRF and Lectureship according to your application. For JRF there is upper age limit of 28 years. For lectureship there is no such age limit.

Yes, you are eligible for CSIR NET exam.

Those candidates who have completed masters degree from a recognized university are eligible for CSIR NET exam. General and OBC candidates should hold 55% and above marks in masters degree. For SC/ST candidate its 50% and above in masters degree.

Your age should be below 28 years.
