Re: Eligibility to apply in CSIR-UGC-NET for M.Sc(Food Science & Technology) postgraduate?
If you have got at least 55% marks in your M.Sc degree from a recognized University then you are definitely eligible for CSIR/UGC NET. For reserved category candidates there is 50% marks required to become eligible.
You can apply for Life Sciences subjects if you have done Food Science and Technology Post Graduation. If you clear NET then it will be good for your career and you will be eligible for JRF and Lectureship according to your application. For JRF there is upper age limit of 28 years. For lectureship there is no such age limit. |
