HELLO,THIS IS ROHIT STUDYING IN 12th from commerce .CAN I APPLY FOR LLB AFTER 12th FROM DU AND WHAT IS THE DISTANCE OF LLB AFTER 12th.DOES LLB REQUIRES EXTRA ORDINARY STUDENT OR AVERAGE STUDENT.

If you have the required eligibility as discussed below then you can certainly apply for the LLB. Eligibility for 5 years LLB course is that candidates should have a passed class 12 or equivalent degree with a minimum of 45% marks in aggregate with 5% relaxation for reserved candidates. The Bar Council of India which governs standards of legal education in India has set the upper age limit for the 5 years LLB course at 20 years. To get admission in the law course the candidates have to give an entrance test and a personal interview. Recognized law universities conducts their own entrance exam for admission. After successfully passing the 5 year course, candidates have to appear for exam conducted by Bar Council of India. After passing the candidates go through one year internship to become a lawyer. After completing 12th you can apply for L.L.B course For this you have to qualify the C.L.A.T exam..

C.L.A.T stand for Common Law Admission Test..
C.L.A.T exam is conducted by Top 11 national Law University of India...

ELIGIBILITY FOR C.L.A.T exam:-
> Pass 12TH with minimum 50% marks from recognized board..
> Age should be in between 17-21 year..

For doing LLB you must pass a entrance exam called CLAT

1. candidate should have obtained a Senior Secondary School/Intermediate (10+2) or its equivalent qualification from a recognised Board.
2. Minimum marks required is 50% for general/obc.
3. Minimum 45% in case of SC/ST/OBC and PWD.
4. Candidates who have appeared in the 10+2 examination and are awaiting results are also eligible to appear in the test.
5. Age of candidate should not be more than 20 years in case of General/OBC.
6. Age of candidate should not be more than 22 years in case of SC/ST and persons with Disability.

After completing 12th Standard you can apply for LLB but you need to give the entrance exam.

CLAT is the entrance exam conducted for the admission of LLB course.

So if you have 50% and above in your academics you can apply for the examination and later can go for the course.
