sir i met with an accident so i can apply for police sub inspector job or not??

Sir, I am a Ex-Servicemen 47 years old. Can I eligible for SI Police in TN Police or any where.

**) i will suggest you the eligibility criteria for police sub inspector post in india:

*) the candidate should be a citizen of india.

*) the candidate should pursue any bachelor's degree from any recognised university.

*) the candidate should have age between 20 to 25 years.

*) 3 years for reserved OBC candidates.
*) 5 years for reserved SC/ST (or) sports candidates.

*) minimum height for PSC post is 170cms.

*) the chest should be 80cms for unexpanding; 85cms for expanding chest.

Eligibility Criteria :

**Candidates having a degree from any recognized university can apply for the post of sub-inspector of police.

Physical Requirements :

**A initial 5 kilometer run which should be completed in 25 minutes (* impossible without practice)

**A long jump in which a candidate should jump a distance of 3.80 meters (* easy)

**A 100 meter sprint which should be completed in 15 seconds. (* easy)

**An 800 meter run which should be completed in 170seconds (* easy).

**A high jump in which a jump of 1.2 meters is required (* practice) and

**A shot put throw which should be thrown a distance of 5.60 meters (* practice makes it easy)

Selection Process:

**Through a series of physical ability tests followed by a written test.

exam pattern:

**English (Descriptive)

**Arithmetic

**test of reasoning

**Mental ability.

This post exam is conducted by state governments.

for appearing this exam you must possess graduation degree in any stream from a recognized college.

the age limit for this exam is 20-25 years.

physical reuirements-

1) 1 mile race to be completed in 6 minutes. There is no second chance.

2) High Jump: 4 ft in three chances
3) Long Jump: 3.5 meter in three chances.

4) Shot Put: 4.5 meters
