Sir, my date of birth is 11/05/1989. I am studying now in 12th std, as I had a gap of 9 years. Will I be able to give the JEE mains exams in 2015 if I have OBC certificate?

No, you are not eligible to appear in JEE Main 2015 examination. Only candidates whose date of birth falls on or before 1st October, 1990 are eligible to appear in JEE Main 2105 examination. Upper age relaxation of 5 years is applicable to SC/ ST/ PWD category candidates i.e., they must have been born on or after 1st October, 1985. Since, you are born in the year of 1989 and belongs to OBC category, you are not eligible to appear in JEE Main 2015 examination.

No, you are not eligible to sit for JEE exam.

JEE stands for the Joint Entrance Exam. This exam is conducted for taking admission in undergraduate engineering course like B.E./B.Tech/B.Arch.

Candidates who have appeared for their 10+2 with physics, chemistry and maths subjects are eligible to sit for this exam.

Only those candidates are eligible for this exam, who were born on or after 1st October 1990. However, age relaxation is applicable for SC/ST/PWD category candidates up to 5 years on upper age.

There is no any age relaxation for OBC (NCL) candidates on upper age so, you are not eligible for this exam.

Candidates can apply maximum two attempts for JEE exam in a consecutive years.
