Can I become IAS/IPS Officer being an ICAI student?
Hello friends, I am doing ICAI course. But I want to become an IAS or IPS Officer. So, I would like to know that as I am doing ICAI course, I can become an IAS or IPS Officer or not? Kindly tell me asap. Thank you!

Yes, you are eligible to appear in Civil Service Examination. The examination is conducted by UPSC.
The eligibility to appear in examination is that candidate must have passed bachelor degree from a recognised university. It is conducted in three stages and after qualifying in all stages you will become eligible for final recruitment. |

Yes, you are eligible to appear in Civil Service examination and after qualifying in it will become eligible for recruitment as an I.A.S or I.P.S Officer.
You have sufficient qualification to appear in examination. Candidate passed bachelor degree in any discipline are eligible to appear in examination. Age limit is 21-32 years. So, you can do preparation for examination. Examination is conducted in three stages. |

Only those candidates who have completed final course of chartered accountancy are treated as graduates and are eligible for Civil Services examination.
If you are doing ICAI course then you are not eligible for Civil Services examination as only graduates with minimum age of 21 years can apply for this examination to become IAS or IPS officer. |

Yes, you can become an IAS or IPS Officer.
To become an IAS or IPS Officer, you have to crack civil services examination. This examination is conducted by UPSC twice every year. The eligibility criteria is candidate must have passed Bachelor's degree in any discipline from a recognized university. Candidate age must lie between 21 to 30 years.
