i dont think so.as per AICTE norms you can change your branch on getting 8 points and something like that.it depends upon university rules.

no chance for change your college.only aboard university can be a chance for indian students only on the basis of entrance test.if you can clear after that you can be a chance for next semister styding in forien university.

but to change your college, you should have good marks in your 1st year result.then only are allow to chance your college.

so minimum you have to get 90% marks in your first year exam.

Yes you can do that provided that the other college in which you want to take admission belongs to the same college as the current college....But you would probably be required to compensate your current college for the same.....

Most universities allow you to change your college after the 2nd semester only under serious grounds.
If your university offers the same and your current college and the one in which you want to apple are willing, then you may change you college.
Else, there is no chance.

yea you can change your college after 1st year.some of the colleges takes admission directly in 2nd year this type of students, if they have some vacant seats.
for this , you have to ask to administrative . and talk to that college administrative where you want to take admission. some times they take little amount of donation while this process.
so just be confirm with thier administrative. then you can apply.

It is quite possible to change the college but you will not be able to continue with 3rd semester.
You can continue with 3rd semester if and only if the both colleges/universities are agree for this sliding. For this purpose you just have to take permission of both colleges then submit them in respective college.

The matter of changing college solely depends on condition made by your college. Sometimes the college takes some amount like 20k-30k and allows you to change the college but condition is that you can change the college which is affiliated to same university as your previous one. But some strict college does not allow you to quit until whole course fees is not paid

Yes there is a provision of changing branch after your 2nd semester. The management department of your college will change your branch on the basis of your marks obtained during the first sem.
They make a merit list on the basis of marks obtained by students who are applying for the branch change then they will change the branch on the basis of number of seats available.
So after the following procedures your branch may be changed.

Yeah you can change but its very difficult that a college will accept you unless you are extraordinary in studies or have a good reason of doing so.

yes there is a provision of change of college after second semester. but in order to do so you must have score a defined percentage of marks in the first and second semester. for which ever the result has been declared. normally that criteria is 70%.

and can only change college under same university only..

another thing you must watch out for is that the college as free seat for your accommodation and your present allows you to change college....

changing of college after 2nd semester is allowed only for university toppers otherwise you can only change your branch. By the way, in todays world, college does,nt matter. What matters is how well have you done in your studies. So try to do well in studies.

you can not change your college after 2 semesters.you will only change your branch after 2 semesters ,if you got 8.5 average in you ist year exam. for changing the college you are given the engineering exam again.........but it will not better for you.........so you will only concentrate on study that will provide you better result in future............

no,my friend there is no chance to change you college after 2nd semester...you have not mention that from which profession you are..any ways, if you are from engineering field , then you have to again appear in entrance exam like IIT, JEE, after that you will get admission in a new college ,and you have to start from the beginning..

Sure you can change your college after two semesters. You may even change your stream !!!

Now this totally depends on your present college officials and the college you want to go in.

I must tell you there is no scope of lateral entries in any of the government colleges. So please rule out any idea of taking a lateral entry in there.

But yeah, you may try in the private colleges, most of them allow lateral entries, provided you meet their regulations, and pay the prerequisite fees which they ask for.

Yes , after completing second semester, you can change your college. This is known as Inter-College Migration.
For this , different Universities have different criteria, but the general criteria is like this :-

~> Candidate should have at least 80% above marks in 1st and second semester.

~> No backlogs allowed in any subject.

If you fulfill the criteria, you have to then take up NOC (No Objection Certificate) from your college and the college you want to go in.
Both of these NOCs are the submitted to University, after which your college is changed.
