Re: Can I do B.ed from IGNOU and in the same time M.Phil in a regular mode?
Yes, some of the institute gives you an opportunity to do the course together (B.Ed as well as M.Phil). But in my opinion you should stick to one course either B.ED or M.Phil which ever field you are interested in. Going for one course at a time will really help you to excel in your career and if you want to do two course simultaneously then I guess you will have to face difficulties as both the course are different to each other. B.Ed which is related to the study of school teaching, whereas M.Phil where you need to concentrate on research work more. So, going for both the course together will might end upto a big confusion in your career and might not able to achieve what you are longing for in your coming career. So, take your decision appropriately.

Re: Can I do B.ed from IGNOU and in the same time M.Phil in a regular mode?
The UGC Secretary, Mr Rajnish Jain while talking to the media, press reports of which appeared in leading newspapers like Economic Times, The Hindu, Times of India and many others on May 21, 2020, informed that the UGC has approved a proposal to allow students to pursue two degrees at the same time.
However, while one of the degrees can be pursued in regular mode, the other degree has to be pursued either in online mode or can be pursued in open/ distance education mode. Moreover, the student can pursue both these degrees in either same or different streams. In addition, the student will also have the option to pursue both the degrees from the same institute or different institutes. However, a detailed notification is yet to be released by the UGC. Hence, you are advised to wait for the notification which will make things clear as to what kind of degree courses can be pursued simultaneously. |
