Diploma mechanical + B.E. Mechanical duration is 3 years + 3 years =6 years.

Its duration is 3 years..

Once you are done with that you can join engineering in mechanical
which is also a 3 year course(only if you join after completing Diploma else
it is a 4 year course).

Further you can continue your higher studies or you can get a job..

You can either get placed in the companies that come to the engineering colleges or apply for a new job in any other company..

Minimum qualification required for diploma course in mechanical engineering is :

The candidate must have passed 10th standard with minimum of 50% marks and must have maths,science and english as compulsory subjects.

Duration of course: 3 years (6 semesters )

As per eligibility criteria you can appear for diploma if you have completed your 10th class.

After diploma you can get direct admission in 2nd year of degree if you want to pursue degree further.

Yes, you can pursue diploma in Mechanical Engineering after 10th standard, it is total of 3 years or you can opt for dual degree Diploma- B.Tech, it is total of 6 years. The basic eligibility criteria is to Pass with 50% aggregate marks in 10th.
