Sir can I do MCA after doing BSc with Maths as pass subject, without doing BCA? or should i join BCA?

yes u can go for mca course but its much better that u should go for msc because it would be easier & effient for u as u acquired a balancing knowledge in bsc.

you are eligible for MCA degree.

because the criteria of MCA entrance is

1)must be passed 10+2 with math ,phy, chem
2) completed graduation in BCA, BBA , B.SC(IT,CS) , M.SC(IT,CS) , BSC(MATH,STAT) .

also if you have B.SC degree and you have completed 300 marks of mathematics then you are eligible for MCA.

Dear friend,you can do M.C.A after doing graduation in science.The basic eligiblity for doing M.C.A is graduation from any discipline.For doing M.C.A you can apply directly to most of the institutes.For doing M.C.A in tamil nadu you have to apply for TANCET MCA exam.This exam will have questions that will test ones understanding and presence of mind.The questions will be from following sections 1.quantative aptitude 2.Numerical reasoning 3.Data deduction 4.Verbal reasoning 5.Basic grammer 6.Basic numerical operation.Following books will help you crack this exam 1.Quantitative aptitude by Dr.R.S.aggarwal 2.Verbal reasoning by Dr.R.S.aggarwal.all the best

from Nios (National institute of open schooling) i want to do mca bcz after my B.Sc i done 1yr computer
course from aptech computer centre and now work as a trainee in java so plzz tell me i m eligible or not

Yes, You can do MCA after BSC-IT.
For that you have to give entrance exam for MCA.

For taking admission in BSC-IT, you should have maths subject in you 10+2 level.

I preferred you to do BSC-IT.

If you want to do BCA, It's not available from mumbai university.

Do BSC-IT and then MCA, It's really better because i am doing BSC-IT. And i will do MCA after completing my BSC-IT.

Yes you can apply for admission into MCA if you have completed B.Sc with maths as one of the subjects.

But you must have got at least 50% marks in the maths subjects because most of the colleges will ask for this criteria.

Some Universities ask for 60% marks in the Graduation with maths subject for MCA admission.

The admission into MCA will be based on the entrance examination and you have to perform very well in the examination to become eligible for admission into top college.

So be prepared for the entrance exam because getting admission into a good MCA college is very essential.
