Dear Friend

Your marks in 12th makes you eligible for AIEEE if you have done 12th in 2010 or 2011.
If you have done 12th before 2010 then you are not eligible for the exam.

As far as marks in 12th is concerned, if you are eligible to appear AIEEE
then you are eligible to get admission in any of the NITs.

There are some colleges that put some restrictions
e.g., to get admission in BIT Mesra you should have at least 60% marks in 10+2.

But this kind of restriction is not present in the admission criteria of NITs.

To get admission in NIT after 12th you have to give the AIEEE exam and if you score excellent then you can get admission in NIT. Only not having good marks in 12th you can get admission in NIT. There can be a chance if you are coming in the reserved category like SC, ST.

Yes you are eligible for AIEEE 2012 exam as minimum marks for appearing in AIEEE exam is 50% for General category students and 40% for sc/st/obc/PH.

Since you are eligible for AIEEE, you need to crack AIEEE to get NITs .NITs takes admission on the basis of its AIEEE entrance exam so you will not face any problem due to marks in class 12th .so apply for AIEEE exam.

Hi Dear

You secure 55% in 12th science you want to admission in NIT college
for this you give the entrance exam AIEEE

you are eligible to give this exam because here cut off criteria is 50% in 12th.
So do not worry that.

But if you secure in good rank in AIEEE , then you must Admission in NIT college
but some NIT college has own criteria that they will not allow Non Career students
but some are allow

The minimum academic qualification for appearing in AIEEE 2012 is that the candidate must have passed in final examination
of 10+2 (Class XII) or its equivalent referred to as the qualifying examination (see Appendix IX) with 50% marks for general category candidates and 40% marks for SC/ST/OBC/PH category candidates.
This is the eligibility criteria given by AIEEE. hence by this you are eligible.

Of course,
you can appear in the AIEEE (ALL INDIA ENGINEERING ENTRANCE EXAMINATION),
Because for getting admission is NITs , you must have to clear the AIEEE examination,.
the minimum educational qualification required for appear in this examination, you must have 12th degree from a recognized board,.
you must have subjects PCM [PHYSICS,CHEMISTRY,MATHS] in 12th , also you must have score at least 50 % [10% relaxation for SC\ST\PH] in 12th.
there are only three years of attempt are given to the candidates.

sir i want to ask that,does aieee or( for admission in nit collages) need grouping?

sir i havent appeared for aieee n i got 58%in 12th..now im in LTIET collage rajkot but now i want to take admission in top collages of idia offering placement without donation please kindly help me for this.

12 marks has not so much to do but you must qualify AIEEE and you should have >60% in pcm (not so neccessary)
