There is nothing to do with aggregate of 10+2 to appear for GATE. GATE stands for Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering.

So, after appearing and qualifying in examination with rank less than 500 are eligible for recruitment in PSU'S.

So, you can appear for examination after B.Tech. The examination is conducted every year.

Many PSU's offer government jobs on the basis of GATE score. So, It doesn't matter how much you scored in 12th class. If you want to get jobs in such PSU , then you should score more than 55 marks out of 100 in GATE exam.

GATE Exam Pattern
- Total Questions : 65
- Total Marks : 100
- Time Duration : 3 Hours
- There will be negative marking system of 1/3 mark for 1 mark questions and 2/3 mark for 2 mark questions for each wrong answer.
