How can I become an IPS officer? My eyes are defected of Myopia
Sir my eyes is defected of myopia.i have used an spectacle(power-2d )of concave lens.can i become an ips officer.

Corrected vision in allowed in IPS Officers post. You must be under following limit in terms of eyesight.
Myopia - Up to -4D is allowed Hypermetropia - Up to +4D is allowed The candidate should not be Color blind and also lack of binocular vision is not allowed. You also must have the height and weight according to the rules and regulations of IPS cadre. Only Graduates can apply for IPS Examination. Indian citizens are only allowed to apply. Age Limit: General Category - 21 to 30 years OBC Category - 21 to 33 years SC/ST Category - 21 to 35 years Selection Procedure: -Preliminary Exam -Mains and Interview -Medical Examination You need to score in merit then only you will become an IPS Officer. Is -4D for a single eye or for both eyes together of -4D power?
