to apply for Bank PO examination You must have purse a graduate degree course in any stream from a recognised university. The eligibility criteria are vary form banks to banks, Government banks have different eligibility and private banks have its own eligibility conditions.

Many Bank wants 55% Marks in your Graduation Course.

But If you are apply for SBI bank PO exam, then after graduation in any discipline from a recognised university is the minimum eligibility, there is no minimum percentage conditions any graduate students may apply for SBI bank PO examination.

But for Other banks you need to scored minimum 55% to 60% Marks in your graduate degree course from a recognised Colleges, Final year graduate candidates are also eligible to apply for BANK PO exams.

So, Please dont worry IGNOU is the recognised College and after completing B.com You are eligible for bank PO exams, And for more information please check the official website of Banks.

For applying in the Banking sector these are the following Eligibility is required:

In now days, a common written examination is conducts by the Institute of Banking Personnel Selection for the Clerk and PO post.
You have to qualify of the IBPS CWE for applying the Nationalized Bank with good marks for both Post.

Qualification for Clerk:

12th passed with 60% or Graduate in any stream.

Qualification for PO:

Graduate Degree in any discipline.

Age Limit for Clerk:

minimum 18 year and maximum 28 year.

Age Limit for Po:

minimum 21 year and 30 maximum year.

(5 year age relaxation is available for reserved category)

Examination Pattern for Clerk:

1. Numerical Aptitude
2. Current Affairs
3. General English
4. Reasoning Ability
5. Computer Knowledge.

For securing a job in a nationalised bank/public sector bank, a person is required to possess a graduation degree from a recognized University.The aggregate percentage required varies from bank to bank, some require 55%, while some require 60%. After that one has to clear a written exam known as IBPS Exam, followed by an interview, for securing a job in a nationalised bank. Further to add to this if any candidate has some additional qualifications like Diploma in Banking & Finance, CAIIB, Diploma in International Banking, Certificate examinations like in Anti Money Laundering & KYC Norms, then he/she will get some preference at the time of personal interview, as compared to other candidates.
