There is only one entrance exam for which you can appear. This entrance exam is SBI Clerical exam. However it will not be conducting anytime soon. You will have to wait for the official notification from the State Bank of India.

Apart from the SBI Clerical alll the other banking exams require graduation degree. It is possible that State Bank of India may also change the criteria for Clerical exam to graduation degree.

There are recommendations from government for banking exams which include changing the qualification criteria to graduation for Clerical exam. The Institute of Banking Personnel Services has already changed the criteria to graduation degree. It is expected that State Bank of India will also follow suit.

Due to this I will recommend you to complete graduation and then apply for the banking exam. However you may try to apply for Clerical exam by State Bank of India but if requirements are changed then you will definitely have to complete graduation to apply for it.

SBI Clerical Eligibility

1. You should be Indian citizen.

2. Must have passed 12th standard.

3. Subjects can be any of your choice.

4. Must have minimum of 60 percent marks.

5. Graduation degree holders are also eligible.

6. There is no marks criteria in graduation.

7. You should be 18 to 28 years old for Clerical exam.

8. A maximum of 3 years relaxation for OBC.

9. On the other hand 5 years relaxation for SC/ST.

Hello friend

Yes you can apply for Bank jobs after completeing 12th

But the minimum marks percentage in 12th must be minimum 60%

If you don't have 60% marks you'll not be eligible for banking jobs

Instead after completing degree you can apply for Bank PO and Clerk posts

As there is no marks percentage restriction in degree so it will be helpful

While you are in degree improve your English communication skills and knowledge in computers

As this is must for bank jobs

On the basis of 12th class there is only one Bank exam and that is SBI Clerical cadre exam.

Only 12th pass is not enough you also must have score above 60% marks then only you can apply for SBI Clerk examination
.

As far as IBPS is concerned they have already raised the qualification to Graduation. So you can't apply for IBPS clerk with 12th qualification.

So as for now you can wait for the SBI clerk notification because it is the only hope for you.

Age Limit for SBI Clerk:

18 to 28 years is the required age for General category candidate. Age relaxation is given to reserved category candidates.

SC/ST : 5 years relaxation

OBC : 3 years relaxation

PWD : 10 years relaxation

Selection Procedure:

-Written Exam

-Interview

Written exam is objective type and it will have following sections.

-General Awareness

-Quantitative Aptitude

-Reasoning Aptitude

-Computer and Marketing Aptitude

-English

There will be sectional cut off and you have to clear the cut off then only you will be called for interview.

Those who score top marks in written and interview will get selected for the post.
