hi..i am doing 12th private from cbsc can i give nda exam,& can a private 12 pass student from cbsc board give NDA examination please give me answer fast.

You can apply for the NDA exams till the time you meet the below eligibilty conditions.

Education:

Indian Army- 12th class or Intermediate Pass in any stream
Indian Airforce and Indian Navy Wing- 12th class or Intermediate Pass.In class 12th you should have studied the subjects Physics and Maths.


Age-
Minimum 16.5 years
Maximum 19 years

No age relaxations is given to any candidates who apply for the NDA exams
Only Candidates born between 2nd January 1996 to 1st July 1998 can apply for these exams

Next NDA exams will be held on 20th April 2014
Notification will come out on 21st Dec 2013

NDA stand for National Defence Service Exam.

The candidate must have a complete the 12th from a recognized university Or equivalent qualification are applicable for NDA exam.There is no percentage criteria for the candidate.But you must have minimum marks in 12th standard .

You have completed 12th tandard from private board so you are appliable for NDA exam .

The candidate age should between 16.5 years to 19 years.There is no age relaxation for Sc/ST candidate . Only unmarried male candidates are eligible to apply. You must have Citizenship of India.

The selection procedure for NDA exam is 1) Written Test. 2) Personal Interview.

From this year NDA application form must be submitted by only online system. The fees for NDA exam is 50/- . You can be paid the amount through SBI Debit/Credit Card or by SBI Net Banking or by depositing directly in SBI .

If you have 10+2 from a recognized board of education then there is no problem and you are surely eligible to apply for the NDA exam.

According to the notification there is clearly written that you should be 10+2 pass and the board should be recognized. CBSE is a recognized board of education so don't worry about eligibility criteria.

Other than educational qualification you also have to fulfill some other criteria which are essential for NDA exam.

Age Limit:

Should be between 16.5 to 19 years.

Only unmarried male can apply.

Also you must be an Indian citizen.

Selection Procedure:

The selection is on merit and you need to score top marks in the exam conducted by UPSC.

National Defence Academy Examination and this examination is conducted by Union Public Service Commission twice in a years for admission to Army wings,Navy wings and Air force wings.

Eligibility Criteria for NDA examination :-

The candidate must be citizen of India or Subject of Bhutan or Subject of Nepal etc.

To apply for this examination is that the candidate must be unmarried male candidates are eligible to apply for NDA examination.

Age limits for this examination is that the candidate should have a minimum 16.5 years and maximum 19 years at the time of appearing for this examination.

If you want to appear for this examination then the candidate born not earlier than 2nd January 1994 and not later than 1996 are only eligible to apply for this examination.

Education qualification for this examination is that the candidate need to completed 12th examination in any discipline for joining Indian Army wings.
