Why Not ? Your definitely eligible for NDA Examination After Completing 12th standard in Private Institution .

The Candidate who Completed +2 / Equivalent Examination from recognized Private / Public institution.

So, please don't worry your eligible for NDA Examination After 12th standard . Apart from this Educational Qualification you need to satisfy the Criteria ( ie:- Age , Physical standards , Marital Status and Nationality ) . Then Only your eligible for NDA Examination .

NDA stands for National Defence Academy which is conducted by Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) for every twice in a year .

The Minimum Academic Qualification is required to apply for NDA Examination is that , the candidate should Passed in 12th standard from recognized University .

Note :- For Airforce and Navy academy you should Learn Physics and Mathematics in 12th standard. Commerce / Arts stream candidates are not eligible for Airforce / Navy academy .

You have Not Mention your Specialization in 12th standard . So, If your Belong from Arts / Commerce stream candidate then your eligible Only for Army Wing .

Final year candidate of 12th standard can also eligible to apply for this NDA Examination . But the candidate should not Fail in Single Subject at the Appear in Examination .

Your age should be in between 16.5 years to 19 years and there is no Upper age relaxation will not Applicable for sc/st candidate .

you should be Physically Fit as the rule of NDA Examination like , Eight , weight and Height ....

You should be Unmarried Male candidate , Female as well as Married Male are not eligible for NDA Examination .

You have not Mention your Marital status as well . So, If your Unmarried male candidate then your eligible for NDA Examination . You should be Citizen of India .

Good to see your interest in the field of the defence field. I want to inform you that NDA examination is conducted by the UPSC twice in every year for the selection of the talented candidates. This exam is conducted twice once in the month of April and other in the month of August in every year.

Eligibility Criteria for the NDA examination :--
---> Pass 12th class from a recognize board/University. 12th appearing student can also apply for the NDA examination.
---> The age must be between 16 1/2 to 19 years at the time of examination.

So, if you satisfy the above eligibility criteria then you are eligible to apply for the upcoming NDA entrance examination. I advise you to do hard work for the upcoming NDA entrance examination because in today time the competition is really tough. The notification will be publish in the employment news.

NDA has three wings

army wing

navy wing

air force wing

Eligibility:

candidate should be citizen of india.

The age limit is 16.5 to 19 years.

You should complete the 12th standard from any recognized state board of india.

There is no need to marks criteria.

Male candidates are eligible. But the candidate unmarried.

Girls are not eligible.

You should be physically fit.

There is no upper age relaxation.

yes dear 12th candidates (either for private or regular) both can appear for the NDA exam.

no matter you have completed 12th from prrivate.

you are eligible for the NDA exam , no doubt.

but make sure that you are between 16-1/2 to 29 years of age for NDA.

you should be passed the 12th with physics and math with atleast 55% marks .
there is no percentage needed for the NDA exam ,so you can apply wtih any score in 12th.

N.D.A exam is conducted by U.P.S.C twice in a year in month of august and April.

Friend after passing 12th with recognized board you can apply.

Last date of submission of form is over f this year. You can apply in 2013.

You can apply both online or offline.

The form will available at all head post office in district.

National Defense Academy & Naval Academy Examination

Union Public Service Commission (UPSC), India conducts National Defense Academy & Naval Academy Examination (NDA exam) to recruit candidates to the Army, Navy and the Air force wings of the National Defense Academy (NDA)

Candidates are required to give his preference for the service he wishes to join, however the final decision also depends on the rank he score in the merit list.

The candidate should first decide their preference for the two different academies namely,

• National Defense Academy
• Naval Academy (Exclusive branch)

If a candidate prefer NDA as his first choice, he has to then give his preferences for the three wings of the NDA i.e. Army, Navy, Air force, followed by his preference for Naval Academy.

Alternatively, if he gives his first preference for Naval Academy, he has to follow it with his preference for the three wings of the NDA.

Notification of Examination - October - Novermber & April - May
Conduct of Examination - April - May & September - October

Age Limits

16-1/2 - 19 Years on 1st January of the year of examination.
Educational Qualification

For Army Wing of NDA - 12th Class pass of the 10+2 pattern of school Education, or equivalent.
For Air Force and Naval Wings of NDA and for 10+2 (Executive Branch) Course at Naval Academy - 12 th Class pass of the 10+2 pattern of school Education with Physics and Mathematics, or equivalent

Candidates appearing at the 12th Class Examination are also eligible to compete. Such candidates will be required to submit the proof of passing the 12th Class Examination by a date to be specified in the Commission’s Notice for the Examination.
Scheme of Examination

Paper I : Written Exam
1. Mathematics (Objective type) - 300 Marks
2. General Ability Test (Objective type) - 600 Marks
Total marks for written examination - 900 Marks
Part II : Marks for SSB Interviews 900 Marks
