No, candidates are not eligible for admission in 2nd year of course in Indian Institute of Technology.

Candidates after qualifying in JEE examination are eligible to get admission in 1st year of course.

The eligibility to appear for JEE examination for admission in Biotechnology course is candidate must have passed 10+2 with PCB or Biotechnology as main course.
