Yes you are eligible for the Indian police department with the mentioned height.

That is the average indian height of any person in the india.So there is no objection in the selection criteria when it comes to the height section.

You can be selected in terms of the height but there are many things which are taken for consideration in terms of selection.

So here now i provide some things which are major concern at the recruitment process.

Eye Sight

Weight according to the height

Mentally fit

Physically fit

Should able to run atleast 2km in 10-15m.

So these are some important areas which they look for joining in to the police department.

If you satisfy all these things then you can be selected.Good luck.
