Can I join marine engineering after pursuing diploma in electronics and telecommunication engineering

Sorry to tell that you are not eligible for doing marine engineering after doing diploma in electronics and telecommunication engineering.

1. Candidates who have completed diploma in
i. Mechanical
ii. Electrical
iii. Naval Architecture
iv.Marine
v. Electrical and Electronics Engineering
are only eligible for doing the course.
2. These candidate must have scored a minimum of 50% marks in the final year examination of the diploma program.
3. Also they must have scored at least 50% marks in English at any academic level (10th/12th/Diploma)
4. They must not be over 28 years of age.

Yes, you can get admission in B.Tech(Marine Engineering) after completion of your diploma through Lateral Entry Entrance Test(LEET).
