I am 10th pass with 77% and my age is 25 and half years. Can I join merchant navy?

As per your qualification and age ,you are ineligible to join Merchant Navy .

The eligibility criteria to join Merchant Navy are as under:-

-The candidate should have completed 10+2 or equivalent with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics from a recognized board.

-The candidate should have secured at least 55% marks in 12th board exam .

-The candidate age limit should be in between 16 years to 25 years.

-Only unmarried male and female candidate can apply for Merchant Navy.

-The physical requirement for joining Merchant Navy are

* Height - 167 cm

* Weight - 50 kg

* Chest - 77 cm (without expansion) and 82 cm ( with expansion)

-The candidate should have vision of 6/6 (normal) in each eye separately and should not suffer from Color Blindness defect.

-The selection procedure involves of

*Written Exam

*Physical Test

* Medical Test

*Personality Interview.

Sir i have completed my 10th with 76.91% and 12th science but my score in pcm is 42.66% please tell me is it possible for me to do merchant navy ..???
