Eligibility Criteria :-

-Intermediate(12th)examination with Maths and Physics in your examination for joining Air force wings or Navy wings.
-Intermediate(12th) examination in any discipline for Army wings.
-Final year candidates are allowed to apply for NDA examination.
-Age should lies between 16.5 years and 19 years.

Eye Standards for NDA examination :-

For Naval Candidates :-

-Uncorrected without glass :- 6/6
-corrected with glass :- 6/6
-Limits of Myopia :- -0.75
-Limits of Hypermetropia :- +1.5
-Limits of colour Preception :- I
-Binocular Vision :- III

For Air force Candidates :-

-Uncorrected without glass :- 6/6 , 6/9
-corrected with glass :- 6/6 (only for hypermetropia)
-Limits of Myopia :- Nil
-Limits of Hypermetropia :- +2.00 D Sph
-Color Vision :- CPI(MLT)
-Astigmatism :- +0.75 Cyl
-Near Vision :- N-5 each eye

Height/Weight Requirements for NDA examination :-

If you are satisfy the eligibility criteria and Vision standards and then you are eligible to apply for NDA examination.

Corrected with glass 6/6
Limits of myopia -0.75
Limits of Hypermetropia +1.5
Binocular Vision III
Limits of Colour preception I

yes, you can join if you eye are 6/6 even if you have -1.5 number.

Educational Qualification-

You must have completed 12th standard with physics, maths, chemistry.
You must have secure 60% marks in 12th.

Age criteria-

The age should be in between 16.5-19years.
There is no age relaxation for SC/ST , OBC criteria.

NOTE:-

>>Only unmarried male candidate are eligible for NDA exam.

>>You must have the citizenship of India.

Generally defence sector doesn't consider any kind of eye-sight problem.

You have a eye-sight problem.They want normal eye-sight.

So if you have not normal Eye-Sight you are not applicable for NDA exam.

If you have not matched the above mention criteria then you can apply for different jobs.

Entrance Exams

For the NDA Air force
wing and the Navy,
each of the candidates
needs to have passed
12th class in science
subject with PCM
subject under the state
board or its equivalent.
The age of the
candidate must be in
between 16 ½ to 19
years. Candidates must
also meet the physical
fitness standards as
laid out by the NDA.

Sorry, you cannot apply for NDA as it requires 6'6 eye vision.
You must also stand on the other eligibility criteria to apply for NDA.

1. The candidate must be an Indian.
2. The candidate should be physically fit.
3. The age limit is between 16.5 years to 19 years.
4. The candidate must have passed the 12th class examination or any equivalent examination.
