I would like to join the NDA . Can i join NDA after passing 11 standard. In science stream.

NDA stands for National Defence Academy. Every year NDA Exam is going to be conducted by UPSC (Union Public Service Commission) twice a year.

The candidates are going to be recruited into the following Defence wings by cracking this exam.
-Army wing
-Navy wing
-Air Force wing

The selection procedure for this is by
-Written Exam
-Interview
Later on, the candidate has to appear for Medical test also.

As you have completed 11th class with Science stream, you might not be having the subjects of Mathematics and Physics in your 11th class. If so, you are not eligible to apply for Navy and Air Force wings.

If you have these 2 subjects in your 11th class, then you are eligible to apply for any of the above mentioned defence wings.

Yes. You can apply for this NDA Exam as you have completed 11th class and pursuing final year of 12th class.

But, you should be able to show the proof of passing in 11th class when you appear for Interview.

Have good preparation for this Exam and crack it.

Make a note of it. You can appear for this exam upto 19 years only.

NDA exam is conduct by UPSC. UPSC conduct this exam twice in a year.
In NDA there are three wings
1. Army wing
2. Navy wing
3. Airforce wing
ya sure you are eligible for this exam because you have pass out 11th with science stream. In 11th you have physics and maths subject so this is necessary condition for NDA exam.

when you crack the exam then you have to show your marksheet or any other proof of your 11th class/ that will clarify that you are studing from science stream.

No you are not eligible for NDA being a candidate of completed 11th class only.
But there is a way for you if you are completed 11th class and now currently you are persuing 12th standard, then you are able to eligible for NDA.

Eligibility criteria:

-->The candidate should be complete 12th standard from any recognised state board of india.

-->the candidate who are persuing now 12th standard is also eligible.

-->Candidate should be a citizen of india.

-->Only unmarried male candidates are eligible.

-->Girls are not eligible for NDA.

-->Age limits is 16.5 years to 19 years.

Selection procedure:

Written test,
Interview,
Medical test.

Application procedure through only online, offline procedure was removed through offline.


So if you fulfill the above conditions then you are eligible for NDA.

No, for appearing in NDA examination 12th pass is mandatory. also there is an age limit.

If you are in 11th standrad then you can not apply for NDA exam.

NDA exam counduct by UPSC twice in year for three wings of nda ---

1.Airforce
2.Army
3.Navy & Navel Academy.

Aspirant must have passed 12th class with around 55% aggregate from a recognized university or college with Physics, mathematics, and Chemistry.

Final year students in 12th class are also eligible to apply NDA.

Only unmarried male candidate are eligible for this exam.

Age should be between 16.5 years to 19 years are eligible.

Exam pattern- There are two paper in this exam.

1. Math paper- It's 300 marks and question will be 120, every question is
2.5 marks.

2. General ability paper-- It is 600 marks paper .There are two section
divide in General ability.

1.english(200 marks) and general knowledge(400 marks).

Well You can appear for the NDA exams after your 10+2 or when you are pursuing your 12th. You age must be between 16.5 to 19 years. NDA is also an exam that is conducted by UPSC twice a year. The UPSC exam notifications are given in the employment Newspapers in the month of February.

In NDA there are 3 wings.
Army wing: For the Army wing a candidate is eligible if he has studied any subject in his 10+2.

Naval and Air Force: For the both fields Physics and Maths subject is a must.

If you have passed out of 12th then you can apply for NDA or else if you have appeared for 12th exams and waiting for the result then you can appear. You must have 60% minimum in 10+2 from a Recognized board. The candidate must be physically fit.

No you cn not join NDA after 11th. You will have to wait fo 1 more year.

NDA Eligibility Criteria:

The examination of the NDA (National defence academy) is conducted by union public service commission-upsc twice in a year to recruits the candidates in Army, Navy & Air Force wings of National Defence Academy. The eligible candidates apply through online and offline application mode. The eligibility details of the UPSC NDA exam details given below…

1. Nationality: A candidate must be a citizen of India.

2. Age: Only the Unmarried Male Candidates born not earlier than 2nd January,1995 and not later than 1st July ,1997 are eligible.

Sex: only unmarried male candidates are eligible.

3. Educational Qualifications:

(i)For Army wing of National Defence Academy: 12th Class pass of the 10+2 pattern of School Education or equivalent examination conducted by a State Education Board or a University.

(ii) For Air Force and Naval Wings of National Defence Academy: A candidate must have passed 10+2 educational level with physics and mathematics subjects. Candidates who are appearing in the 12th class under the 10+2 pattern of school education or equivalent can also apply.

4. Physical Standards: Candidates must be physically fit and medically according to physical standards for admission to National Defence Academy and Naval Academy Examination.

Note: A candidate who has resigned or withdrawn on disciplinary grounds from any of the training academies of Armed Forces is not eligible to apply

Because the minimum education qualification is 12th standard pass from a recognized Board for apply NDA exam.

In 11th class you can't apply for NDA examination. You have to apply for NDA examination when you are in 12th class and expect your final result on time.

So you must concentrate on your studies at present and prepare for NDA exam along with it. The basic educational requirement for NDA exam is 12th class.

The age limit for NDA examination is 16.5 to 19 years so complete 12th. Also only unmarried male who are Indian citizen can apply for it.
