I am happy to inform, you that you are eligible for N.D.A exam after passing 12th with arts stream.

Friend in N.D.A Exam the candidate who pass 12th in any stream is eligible.

N.D.A exam is conducted by U.P.S.C twice in a year.
In month of April and August.

The candidate apply for N.D.A exam must be in between 16.5-19 year.

In this exam only unmarried male candidate are eligible the female are not eligible for this exam.

There are three steep of selection:-
> Written Exam
> Interview
> Medical exam

Yes, an Arts student can join Indian Army but only in the Indian Army as for Navy Or Air force one must be a 12th pass from the science stream.

NDA exam is conducted by UPSC.

The examination is conducted twice a year and any male students who have completed their class 12th can apply for the NDA exam

The NDA examination is done in three phases :

1. Written exam

2. SSB Interview

3. Medical

You can apply only for army wing of NDA.

Written examination consist of two papers :

Paper I:

It carries 300 Marks and is of maths and duration of the examination is 2-1/2 hours

Paper II :

It carries 600 marks and duration of the examination is 2-1/2 hours .It consist of English and General ability paper.

General Ability Test will be broken into 6 parts. The allocated marks are:

Physics – This topic will carry 100 marks.

Chemistry – This topic will carry 60 marks.

General section – This topic will carry 40 marks.

History, Freedom Movement – This topic will carry 80 marks.

Geography – This topic will carry 80 marks.

Current Events – This topic will carry 40 marks.

Yes you are eligible to sit for the NDA Exam. But since you studied arts at 10+2 level therefore you are only allowed to apply for the Army wing.

Union Public Service Commission conducts the NDA Exam every year for two times. This exam is conducted for the recruitment of candidates in the following wings:-

1. Army Wing
2. Navy Wing
3. Air Force Wing

To sit for this exam you need to be a citizen of India and this exam is only for the unmarried male citizens of India. Girls are not allowed to give this exam and even the ones who gets selected during their training period in NDA can't get married because on doing so they may be asked to leave.

The eligibility criteria basically to enter the NDA varies from one wing to the other. Your qualification suggests that you can enter the Army wing and this is because to enter the Army wing you just need to be a 12th pass out student. The subject combination does not matters. But to enter the Naval wing or AFA wing, you have to have physics and maths at 10+2 level as well.

The selection takes place on the basis of the following stages:- Written test followed by Psychological Aptitude Test and Intelligence Test, SSB Interview. Then there is a physical standard which you need to satisfy and on getting selected you will have to submit original documents as well.

If you are citizen of India then you are eligible for the NDA exams.

Since you have completed your intermediate you can be eligible only for the Army Wing.
Because your group of course is arts not science.

Generally the Air-force and Naval Wing only takes the Science group students.

Even if you study the science group is not enough you need to achieve atleast 50% of marks in maths physics compulsory.

Else your application will be rejected.If you apply for the exam with false marks then your application will be disqualified and you will be terminated for the recruitment.

So be genuine in applying the job post in the NDA.If you found faulty then you may have to face the legal actions on you since it comes under the malpractice.

So you are only applicable for the Army Wing.
