Yeah Sure you can join NDA after passing 12th standard with non-Medical stream.

There are three wing in NDA as mentioned below:-

Indian Army
Indian Navy
Indian Air Force


To join Any of the above wing of NDA, you ahve to write NDA Entrance Examination conducted by UPSC every year.

NDA:- National Defence Academy
UPSC:- Union Public Service Commission


Eligibility for NDA Exam:

>>For Army:- You should be 12th passed in any stream from recognized school.

>>For Navy/Air Force:- You should be 12th passed in PCM stream from recognized school.

>>You can also apply for NDA while studying in 12th standard.

>>Your Age should be in between 16.5 to 19 years to join NDA.

>>You must be an Indian resident. Should be Male & Unmarried.

NDA stands National Defense Academy

NDA exam conducted by UPSC twice in a years (NDA I & NDA II)
NDA exam is conducted for following three wings
Indian Air Force
Indian Navy
Indian Army


Eligibility Criteria :

Candidates must have complete 12th stands from a recognized university
And also apply final years students
There is no any percentage restriction in 12th class
The age limit between 16.5 to 19 years
The candidates must be male person & Unmarried & physical fit
The candidates must be citizen of India

Yes you can give the exam. It does not really matters which stream you belong to.

Here is the eligibility criteria of NDA entrance exam:-


NDA entrance exam eligibility criteria:-
You should be minimum 12 pass out
age limit-16.5-19 yrs
you should be an unmarried citizen of india

Exam pattern:-
paper i is mathematics of 300 marks
paper ii is the general ability divided into two parts:-
part A is english of 200 marks
part B is general knowledge of 400 marks
so total 900 marks

Then there is the interview session which will yield you more marks

the NDA Exam is conducted by the union public service commission twice every year.to write this exam one needs to be fully eligible to write the exam and hence needs to satisfy the Eligibility criteria mentioned below.....

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA

-The Age of the candidate should be b/w 16.5 to 19 years.

-candidates should have passed or be appearing in XII class from a recognized board .

-candidates having PCM can apply in all the three defence services

-candidates of arts ,medical and commerce can only apply for IMA.

-only unmarried male candidates can apply.....

SINCE YOU ARE A NON MEDICAL CANDIDATE HENCEYOU ARE ELIGIBLE FOR ALL THREE BRANCHES...

since you are from non medical stream hence you can apply for all the thee defense services of india namely....

Yes, you can join NDA after passing 12th standard from non medical stream i.e. with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics you are eligible to apply all the three wings of NDA i.e. Indian Army, Navy and Air Force.

UPSC conducts entrance exam for NDA(National Defence Academy) two times a year for entry in to three wings of NDA mentioned above.

First of all you must be an unmarried Indian male candidate. You should have completed 12th standard in any stream from a recognised Board within the age of 16.5 to 19 years of age with good Physical and Mental health. The candidate appearing for the final 12th exam is also eligible to apply for NDA.

The selection is through written exam followed by Personal Interview along with Physical Fitness and Medical Test.
