Sir i am a commerce student in 12 Std from Hsc board of pune,can i join nda? If yes than please suggest me how?

After passing 12th Commerce you can join Indian Army of NDA(National Defence Academy) exam conducted by UPSC twice every year as NDA-I and NDA-II.

The eligible candidate must be an Indian unmarried Male having either appear for the final 12th exam or pass in any stream from a recognised Board within the age of 16.5 to 19 years with good Physical Fitness.

NDA can be joined through on line only. The selection is through written Exam followed by Personal interview along with Physical Fitness and Medical Test.

NDA stand for National Defence Service Exam.This exam is conduct twice time in a year.This Exam is Conducted in Month of June and December .NDA two exams are NDA I and NDA II .

NDA Examination is conducted for admission for the following wings :-Indian Air Force , Indian Army ,Indian Navy .

The candidate must have a complete the 12th from a recognized Board Or equivalent qualification are applicable for NDA exam.Final year of 12th candidate can apply here .

Being a commerce student of 12th standard board you are applicable for NDA exam for Indian Army post .

Your age should be in between 16.5 to 19 years old.

From this year NDA application form must be submitted by only online system. The fees for NDA exam is 50/- . You can be paid the amount through SBI Debit/Credit Card or by SBI Net Banking or by depositing directly in SBI .

As per your qualification you are eligible for only Indian Army with NDA examination

NDA have three wings, Indian Air Force, Indian Army, Indian Navy,

but you are not eligible for Indian Air Force and Indian Navy,

because, those students are eligible for Indian Air Force and Indian Navy whose studied PCM (Physics/Chemistry/Mathematics) subjects in 12th standard

NDA is conducted by UPSC twice time in year, stands for National Defense Academy, this exam is for those who are wishing to join Indian Defense System........


Conducted inn three wings that is Indian Army, Indian Navy and Indian Air Force but you are from Commerce stream so,
you can apply for only Army wings according to the Educational Qualification......


A candidate who have completed their 12th with Science stream with subjects of Mathematics from recognized board exam can apply for it.........

Age of candidate should be between 16 1/2 to 19 years, No age Relaxation for Reserved category.......

After passing 12th standard in commerce stream you cannot join the NDA [National Defense Academy] directly.

If you want to join the NDA then you have to pass the NDA Examination which is conducted every year by the Union Public Service Commission.

But as you have passed 12th with commerce so you can only join Indian Army if you successfully pass the NDA Examination.

Passing the NDA Examination means passing all the three stages in which the exam is conducted. These stages are :

1) Written Examination

2) SSB Interview

3) Medical Test

The Basic Requirements for NDA Entrance Exam are :

* you must have passed 12th from any recognized board.

* There is no minimum percentage bar for the NDA Exam.

* Candidates appearing in 12th can also appear in the NDA-II Exm.

* The candidate`s age must lie in between 16.5-19 years.

* The candidate must be a male as girls are not considered eligible for the exam.

* The candidate must be an Indian.

* The candidate must be unmarried.

* The candidate must be physically and mentally fit.

Next NDA exams will be held on 11th August 2013
Notification will come out on 4th May 2013

Educational Qualifications:
Army Wing-12th Pass in any stream
Navy & Airforce Wing- 12th Pass with Subject Physics and Maths as subjects.


AGE-
Minimum age 16.5 years
Maximum age- 19 years


So, you can only apply for the Army wing of the NDA exams if you meet the age criteria also.

Only Unmarried Male candidates can apply
