I would like to join the NDA . Can i join NDA after passing 11 standard. In science stream.

NDA stands National Defense Academy.This exam is conducted by the Union Publice Service Commission(UPSC).So you are not eligible for this exam because the minimum qualification is 10+2. Now you are in 11th standard in Science Stream.Am giving as per my knowldege about NDA exam eligibility and some of details showing i hope it is help for you.

Eligibility criteria:-

**The candidate should be complete 12th standard from a recognised state or central board.

**Male unmarried candidates only eligible.

**The age limits are 16.5years to 19years.

**You must be physically fit

It has three wings:

**Indian Army
**Indian Navy

No thats impossible to join NDA with the qualification of 11th standard.

Because the minimum educational qualification is 12th standard, so first complete your 12th standard and then apply for NDA exam.

Definitely you are Eligible to apply for the NDA Exam by Next year

But you must have to complete the 12th First and Age is absolutely Eligible to apply for the NDA


To get in to the NDA you must have Completed the 12 th with PCM subjects to enter in to the Indian Navy and Indian Air force

For Indian Army , Any stream student can be Eligible to apply for the NDA

You must have the Age in between 16.5 to 19 years at the Time of SSB interview


If you have 12th with PCM subjects then you can also apply for the TES Examination

But for this you must have 70% of marks in your 12 th from a recognized university

The Age should be in between 16.5 to 19.5 years

Only Male Unmarried candidates are Eligible to apply

Through TES you can apply for Indian Navy and Indian Army

for nda the minimum qualification you require is 12th pass from a recognized board,

and as have not passed class 12th you are not eligible for nda exam as of now ,

so if you want to join nda then pass class 12th first and then apply for it,

some of the other eligibility for nda :

must have studies physics,chem. and maths for navy & air force

NDA Eligibility Criteria: The examination of the NDA (National defense academy) is conducted by union public service commission-upsc twice in a year.

I.to recruits the candidates in Army, Navy & Air Force wings of National Defense Academy.

1. Nationality: A candidate must be a citizen of India.

II. Educational Qualifications:

1.For Army wing of National Defense Academy:

Sorry, to say that but, it is not possible for you to joining NDA direct after completing your 11th std. because the educational qualification require for the NDA stat that a candidate must have passed out at least their 12th std.......

So, if you first of all completed your 12th std. then you can surely become applicable for this exam.....

Generally a candidate who have completed their 12th std. with science stream subjects of Physics, Chemistry and Maths are eligible for the all wings of NDA, and candidate from other stream can also apply for the NDA but, for only Army wings......

• Air Force Wing

## Age of candidate should be at least 16.5 years.
