Yes you are eligible for NDA (army wing).

The eligibility is 10+2 exam.So complete your 12th and then apply for it.

The age limit is 16 1/2 to 19yrs.

NDA examination was conducted by UPSC 2 times in year. The NDA I examination was already completed on 17/April/2011. And the NDA II examination notification was already updated in UPSC website.

To apply for NDA II examination, your age should between 16.5 to 19 years. And you must have pass in your 12th examination. The last date of apply for NDA II examination was 09/May/2011. And the entrance examination was going to be held on 21/08/2011.

And NDA II examination Only unmarried male candidates born not earlier than 2nd July, 1993 and not later than 1st January, 1996 are eligible.

Educational Qualifications -

For Army Wing of National Defence Academy -12th Class pass or equivalent examination conducted by a State education Board or a University.

no, you can't apply for it, because only the male candidates under the age limit of 16.5 to 19 years are eligible, who had done 10+2 with PCM as their main subjects.
BUT as you mentioned that you had done 12th with PCB, so you can't apply for that.

The candidate who completed 12th standard with PCB stream are not eligible for NDA exam.

Eligibility criteria for NDA exam:
Candidate should have completed 12th standard with PCM stream from a recognized university.

Through this exam, one can join in Airforce, Navy and millitary.

For the academic year, NDA I exam was held on 17th April, 2011.

NDA II exam is going to be conducted on 21-08-2011.

In order to be eligible for NDA exam, one should have completed 10+2.

One should be in the age group of 16 1/2 years to 19 years.

The last date for the receipt of NDA II exam is 09-05-2011.

Well friend, your are very much eligible for army entry in the NDA as long as you meet the age limit and will be able to produce your educational certificates after the SSB.
However, you will not be evaluated separately. You have to give the same NDA written test, one part of which consists entirely of Mathematics.

Yes you are eligible for army wing in NDA as 12th pass candidates are allowed in army of NDA. You are however not eligible for navy and airforce wings because you do not have Maths.

Hey friend,

As you have asked for the information regarding the eligibility for NDA i have mentioned them below for your reference.

The NDA exam is conducted by UPSC and it is held 2 times in a year.

The eligibility which you must possess for this exam is:

Eligibility criteria:

The candidates must be a unmarried male candidate and must have not born before 2nd July 1993 and not later than 1st January 1996 i.e the candidates must be 16 1/2-19 years of age.

For Army Wing:

The candidates must have finished their +2 with (10th,+2) pattern conducted by school education.

For Air Force and Naval Wings:

The candidates must have finished their 12th with (10th,+2) pattern conducted by school education and must have physics and mathematics as their subjects.

The candidates appearing for +2 exam are also eligible for writing NDA exam.

As far concerned with the physical standards the candidate must be physically fit while appearing for the exam.

Well Friend,

You are eligible to give NDA exam and the SSB interview, but the service alloted to you will be Army, even if you clear SSB of Navy or Airforce.
This is so because, you need Physics and Maths for Navy and Airforce.

Also your age should be between 16.5yrs to 19yrs.

3. You should be a citizen of India.

So if you fulfil the criteria, you are eligible for NDA.

Yes, any student who has completed their 10+2 from a recognized board and have scored more than 50% can apply for the N.D.A exam. If the candidate has done 10+2 with Physics and Maths then he can opt for Air Force and the Navy. There are 2 exams conducted every year. The candidate has to clear one of the exam, the SSB interview and the medical test to join the N.D.A. Once they pass out from N.D.A, they become commissioned officers of the Indian Defence Services.

The eligibility is 10+2 exam

I think that you are not eligible for NDA exam as you are from Medical stream because to be eligible to appear in NDA exam , you must have to follow the below mentioned criteria :

* You must have passed your 12th with PCM as you key subjects witha minimum of 50% or appearing candidates can also apply.

* Your Age must lie between 16.5 and 19 years.

* You must be a citizen of India.

* You must be unmarried.

You are eligible to apply for NDA after 12th. It has no connection with whether it is with Medical Stream or non medical stream.

UNION PUBLIC SERVICE COMMISSION(UPSC) conducts entrance exam for NDA(National Defence Academy) twice every year as NDA-I and NDA-II for entry into three wings of NDA:-

INDIAN ARMY
INDIAN NAVY
INDIAN AIR FORCE

Those candidate having Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics in 12th standard whether appear for the final exam or pass can apply for Indian Navy/Air Force wing of NDA and without having above subject is only eligible to apply for Indian Army of NDA.

Apart from this the other eligibility are:-

The candidate must be an unmarried Indian male within the age of 16.5 to 19 years with good Physical Fitness.

After passing 12th with biology stream you are eligible for N.D.A exam.

N.D.A exam is conducted by U.P.S.C twice in a year.
In month of and April and August.

Eligibility criteria:-
> Pass 12th with recognized university
> Unmarried male candidate is eligible for this exam.
> Age limit:-16.5-19 year.
> Must be citizen of India
> Medically fit

There are three steep of selection:-
> Written Exam
> Interview
> Medical exam
