Can I skip one subject in final year of engineering at OU? Will it create any problem for GATE?


Well i forgot to write one exam in final year, so i want to know that can i leave that subject in OU or i have to write? Is there any problem to applying for GATE? Please give solution for this.

It will not create any problem while appearing GATE, but create problems for getting admission in M.E./M.Tech or getting jobs based on your graduation or GATE. You also can't get B.E./B.Tech qualified certificate from university. So, You must clear all the subjects of your graduation.

GATE Exam Pattern
- Total Questions : 65
- Total Marks : 100
- Time Duration : 3 Hours
- Provision of negative marking of 1/3 for each 1 mark questions & 2/3 for each 2 marks questions.

GATE Important Dates
- Apply Online From : 01.09.2016
- Last Date to Apply : 04.10.2016
- Download Hall Tickets : 05.01.2017
- GATE Exam : February , 2017
- GATE Exam Result : March , 2017
