Can I crack CAT without preparing from any coaching class?
Hello sir,,,
Now im studying in Bcom 2nd year. I want to write CAT after my degree. Now i want to start my preparations for cat. Without any coaching can i crack the CAT??????? Please help me..... |

Yes, you can crack CAT without preparing from any coaching centers. However in such case you need to work harder and practice more. This is because the study materials of coaching centers consists of important materials with tips and tricks. If you are doing self-study then you need to refer various books and sample papers to incorporate the tips and tricks and also to complete the syllabus of CAT exam. Apart from that you need to read newspapers, magazines and news website.
You need to practice from books like Quantitative Aptitude for CAT by Arun Sharma, Quantum Cat by Arihant Publications, Word Power Made Easy, R S Agarwal Verbal and Non Verbal Reasoning and practice various sample papers.
