Re: Can I study Law course in Correspondence having done BA course in Correspondence and being a House Wife?
While the law course is offered through correspondence, it is not the LLB course. The bachelor of law degree which is available through correspondence is not accepted by the Bar Council of India.
Therefore it is not recommended to apply for law course through correspondence. Please remember that as per rules of the Bar Council of India, the LLB course can only be done through regular mode. This course is not offered through correspondence and the law course which is offered is not accepted by the Bar Council of India making it completing useless. You can not practice in the court with such degree. Therefore there is no point applying for such degrees. Therefore it is important to pursue LLB through regular mode. However in your case, even that is not possible. You have mentioned your age to be 37 years old. The maximum age limit to apply for LLB is 30 years. This completely rules outthe possibility of you applying for LLB even through regular mode. I am really sorry about that. I would say that you should consider B.Ed or MA course. After these courses you can apply for teaching jobs. After B.Ed you can apply for government teaching job through TET exam while after MA you can apply for college lectureship through NET entrance exam. There is no age limit to apply for any of these two. Therefore even at the age of 40 you will be able to apply for the teaching job. LLB Eligibility 1. A graduation degree in any stream. 2. Minimum of 45 percent marks. 3. SC/ST need 40 percent marks. 4. The age limit is 30 years for LLB. 5. SC/ST gets 5 years relaxation. |

Re: Can I study Law course in Correspondence having done BA course in Correspondence and being a House Wife?
Hi, I'm 36 yrs old female. Done diploma in mechanical engineering and was working earlier. From past 9 yrs I'm a housewife. Now want to restart again but with school job. So took admission for BA fine arts (distance education) as in past few years I developed interest in fine arts and painting and presently taking art classes at home. What are the chances to get job as a art teacher after BA fine arts or should I do bsc also symultaniously with BA? Is Bed is compulsory for art teacher? Pls answer. Thanks
