Can I take admission in Mechanical Engineering after passing 12th from BSEB?


I have passed 12th from Bseb.I have got 69.4%.But my faculty is Arts. Can i take admission in Machanical ingineering?

Mechanical Engineering is one of the evergreen engineering branch which deals with the design, construction and use of machines. Candidates who have passed 12th standard or an equivalent examination with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics subjects from a Government recognised board are eligible to pursue this course.

Admissions to Mechanical Engineering course are offered through National or State or University level entrance examinations conducted by your respective authority. If you qualify the entrance examination, you will be called for counselling and you will be allotted a seat in the college which you are eligible to get admission for pursuing Mechanical Engineering course.

As per the information you have provided in your query, you have passed 12th standard Arts stream with an aggregate of 69.4% marks from a Government recognised board, so, you are not eligible to get admission in Mechanical Engineering.
