Being a girl, you can’t apply for NDA. Only unmarried male candidates are eligible to apply. You can join defense by qualifying CDA exam. Graduation is the basic qualification required for CDS. Science graduates can find opportunities with Navy and Air Force also.

Hello dear,


As a girl candidate you are eligible to write CDS and also AFCAT examination.

Both the exams can be written only after or in the final year of your graduation having an aggregate percent of minimum 60%.

Now your not eligible to write any of the defense service exams because NDA is the only after 12th and girls are not allowed.

CDS can be written after graduation for Officers Training Academy only.

English and general Knowledge are required.

AFCAT also a girl candidate can write but as you from commerce your not eligible for this also.

Only science PCM group are allowed after graduation.

One can apply for NDA(National Defence Academy) exam conducted by UPSC twice every year for an entry in to Indian Army, Navy and Air Force wing of NDA after 12th from any stream. So a candidate from Commerce stream without Math can apply for Indian Army of NDA. But Girl candidate is not eligible for NDA.

The eligible candidate must be an Indian unmarried Male only having either appear for the final 12th exam or pass in any stream from a recogbised Board within the age of 16.5 to 19 years with good Physical and Mental health.

As a Girl candidate as you are interested for Defence services, you acan apply for CDS(Combined Defence Service) after Graduation in any stream within the age of 19 to 25 years.

I am sorry to sya that girl are not eligible for N.D.A exam after passing 12th.

If you want to join Indian Defence then you have to ass graduation with any stream after passing graduation you have to qualify the C.D.S exam.

COMBINED DEFENCE SERVICES

C.D.S exam is conducted by U.P.S.C twice in a year.

Age limit for C.D.S exam is 19-24 year.

In C.D.S exam unmarried Male and female are eligible.

You have to qualify the three stage of selection:-
> Written exam
> Interview
> Medical Exam

As a girl candidate, you are not eligible as per eligibility criteria.

Eligibility criteria for NDA is :-

> Only Unmarried male candidates are allowed.

> Age must be between 16.5 to 19 years of age.

> You should have passed +2 from any recognized board/University.

> Candidate should have Mathematics and Physics as compulsory subjects in +2 (if he wants to go in Air Force/Navy)


As , you are from Commerce stream, and being a girl candidate, you are only eligible for Indian Army, that too after completing your graduation.

After completing your graduation, you can give exams like CDSE.

Iam really sorry to say this you are not eligible to appear for National Defence Academy(NDA) exam because being a girl candidate should not be eligible for NDA exam. This exam conducted by the UPSC two times in a year.

Eligibility details:-

The minimum educational qualification is 12th standards from a recognised board or university.

You must be physically fit and you must be a citizen of India.

The age limits are 16 1/2 years to 19 years, no upper age relaxation.

Only unmarried male candidates are eligible for NDA exam.

Girls are not eligible.

Percentage is not an issue for this exam.

Indian Army aspirants, first crack the NDA examination

NDA stands for National Defence Academy

This Examination is conducted by Union Public Service Commission in yearly twice i.e. NDA - I and NDA - II

NDA have three wings i.e. Indian Air Force, Indian Army, Indian Navy,

Hey friend,

The NDA exam is conducted for candidate to join in defence forces of India and the forces which you can get through this are:

>> Indian Army

>> Indian Navy

>> Indian Air Force

There are certain standards which are needed to be joining in these forces and you need to satisfy them in order to joining in them

As you have told whether you can join in NDA without Maths as subject,it is possible but not in for joining in Indian Navy or Air force as for them you need to have completed +2 with Physics and mathematics as subject

And Most importantly you have mentioned that whether Girl is eligible,Of Course not,A girl is not eligible for applying for the NDA exam

Reason:

The reason behind that you will not be satisfying the needed Martial Status for the NDA exam as for applying for the NDA exam you need to be a Unmarried male candidate as you being a Girl you are not eligible for applying

Girls are Not allowed to apply for the NDA exams.
So you cant apply to NDA.

Only other way for you to join the Defence Services is the CDS exams.

In the CDS exams also you can only apply to the OTA wing that is Officers Training Academy.

Minimum eligibility to apply for the OTA exams is Graduation Pass in any stream
Age should be between 19 to 25 years

First of all i want to tell you that being a girl you are not eligible for NDA.

NDA exam is conducted by UPSC i.e Union Public Service Commission.

According to eligibility criteria only unmarried Male candidate aging between 16.3-19 years are eligible for NDA.

For your Information i want to tell you that Science students which have done Maths also in 12th are eligible only for NDA.

A candidate from commerce stream can apply for Indian Army through cracking NDA.

NDA - National Defence Academy exam conducted by UPSC twice every year as NDA-I and NDA-II to join Indian Army, Navy and Air Force wing.

The eligible candidate wishing to join Indian Army, must be an unmarried Indian male only having either appear for the final 12th exam or pass in any stream from a recognised Board within the age o 16.5 to 19 years with good Physical Fitness.

(i)For Army wing of NDA: 12th Class pass

(ii) For Air Force and Naval Wings of NDa: A candidate must have passed 10+2 educational level with physics and mathematics subjects.

I am sorry but as a girl you are not eligible for NDA.
but you can always complete your graduation and then appear for CDS and get into army. You have to complete your graduation first. so try hard to clear graduation and come back anytime to appear for CDS.

Admission To NDA

Sorry to disappoint you but female candidates are not applicable for applying for the UPSC National Defence Academy Exam

The minimum requirements an applicant must fulfill before appearing for the NDA Exam are as follows :-

> Applicant can only be an unmarried male

> Age of candidate should be more than 16 1/2 years and not more than 19 years..

> Must have successfully completed 12th (with Physics + Maths for Air Force and Navy)

Since NDA is meant only for unmarried male candidates hence female candidates are not eligibile to apply..

If you are really interested in joining the Defence Forces then after the successful completion of your bachelor's degree you may apply for the Combined Defence Services Exam

CDS is held every year in February and September by UPSC for :-

> Naval Academy
> Air Force Academy
> Military Academy
> Officer's Training Academy

Since you don't have Mathematics as a subject hence you are eligible to apply for IMA(Indian Military Academy) and OTA(Officer's Training Academy)

The minimum requirements a candidate should satisfy for CDSE are :-

> Age within 19-24 years for IMA and between 19-25 years for OTA..

> Graduation degree (no minimum percentage restriction) in any discipline but from a recognized University..
