i hve taken commerce with maths in 12th & i wnt 2 join NDA. can i m eligible 4 it.....

HELLO,you have thought about serving the country which is really appreciable.yes,you are eligible to take the NDA(national defence academy) exam.as per the rules for participating in the exam one should have maths background as a compulsion & you have the maths background no matter whether you have commerce alongwith it moreover you will get the benefit of this in exam.

Sure there is no problem in you joining National Defense Academy. The minimum qualification required is graduation in any field. But there is minimum age requirement of 21years. You can appear only after that. You should start preparing for the exam right away.

Dear,serving the country is a pride thing for everyone and you want to do the same. For NDA (National Defence Academy) exam, a pass in graduation in any field is compulsory. Since you have passed the graduation with Maths, you can apply for the NDA exam. But be sure, the minimum age requirement to appear in this exam is 21 years. So, ALL THE BEST.

yes, you are eligible for giving nda exam. the minimum qualification required for the exam is 12th class with 505% marks and maths as a compulsory subject. and you are having those qualifications

No, commerce students cannot apply for NDA exam. The exam consists of Physics and Chemistry syllabus apart from Maths. So you are not eligible for this exam unless you are a science student.

There is no exam conducted for commerce students to join NDA.

maths is the core subject of NDA . you must have maths in your 10+2 examination, whatever be the stream is does'nt matter.you must have maths background for appearing in this one.

of course,, you can appear in NDA exam , conducted by UPSC ..

you can apply for only military wing of indian army.not for naval & air wings.

having math as a subject

- candidate's age should be between 16.5-19 years

as you are a commerce student but you have maths as a subject so
surely you are eligible for NDA exam.....

Of course, man, you are totally eligible for this examination conducted by UPSC (UNION PUBLIC SERVICE COMMISSION).

For appearing this exam you must have to complete your 12th from a recognized board.
although you are not eligible for the NAVAL & AIR FORCE WING of Indian army.but you are eligible for military branch.
final year student of intermediate can also apply.

the age limit for this exam is 16.5-19 years.

there are no any kind age relaxations are given to any candidate.

No, girls are not allowed in NDA.

Eligibility criteria For Army Wing of NDA:-

Candidate must be 12th Class pass of the 10+2 pattern of School Education or equivalent examination conducted by a State Education Board or a University.

Other criteria:

1. The candidate should be between 16-1/2 to 19 years of age

2. Your marital status should be single.

3. You should be a citizen of India.

4. The candidate should be MALE.

But you can sit for exams like IAS, IPS, IES, CDS, Navy etc..don't loose hope dear...

yes,commerce student is very much eligible for NDA examination.

As there some sections in the paper which consist questions on Physics, chemistry , biology , geography and etc.

It is always difficult to prepare for those sections for someone from commerce and from art.

So it is always consider to take science stream if you are interested in NDA.

But many students from the commerce and art stream have done or clear the entrance exam and got selected in NDA.

This means that you can prepare those subject even if you belong to any stream(art,science,commerce).

It may be possible that questions in entrance examination will be based on only 10th standard syllabus.
