Can I take admission in NIT this year and write IIT JEE after failing in IIT JEE last year?


I have lost 2012 IIT JEE. can I take admission in NIT this year and write IIT JEE 2013? can I get seat when I get rank next year?

I HAVE GOT 2977 RANK IN MANIPAL ENTRANCE. i WANT TO PREPARE FOR IIT JEE. WHAT SHOULD I DO? DROP AND PREPARE OR TAKE ADMISSION AND PREPARE?
