Now i passed a graduction in B.Com (2011).My question is that can i take direct addission in chartered Accountants courses in IPCC .Please give me complete information in this mail.I am greatly thankful to you.

The Chartered Accountant (CA) Course comprises of

Competence Proficiency Test (CPT)
Integrated Proficiency Competence Course (IPCC)
and Final Course.

If you have scored more than 50% marks in B.Com. then you can get exemption
from CPT. Otherwise, you will have to first qualify CPT and then you would
becme eligible for IPCC.

Refer the ICAI website for details regarding registration for the course.

The course registration fee is paid by Demand Draft or Pay order which is to be
enclosed with your registration form.

CHARTERED ACCOUNTANCY

you can enrol yourself for IPCC provided

you have scored 50% marks in your graduation.


There are three stages in CA

Common Proficiency Test(CPT)
IPCC
Final examination


CA takes around 4.5 years on whole.

After clearing both IPCC (group I & II )

You can appear for final examination

CA FEE

C A TOTAL fee is around 40000/- to 45000/-.

bcom will be more beneficial as it includes subjects of commerce and it will be easy for you to prepare for IPCC after your graduation but make sure you will be exempted from CPT i.e. directly eligible for IPCC only if your percentage in Bcom is 50% or more.

It depends on your percentage in Bachelor of Commerce course. As per the guidelines of ICAI, if a commerce graduate has scored at least 55 percent marks and non commerce graduate has scored minimum of 60 percent marks, then he/she is eligible for direct admission into IPCC.

Such candidates are not required to appear for Common Proficiency Test. So please check and see whether your percentage in B.Com is 55 percent or not. If not then it would be mandatory to give Common Proficiency Test.

There are four sections of the Common Proficiency Test that are divided into two groups. You must score at least 30 percent marks in each of the two groups to clear the test.

1. Mercantile Law

2. Economics

3. Fundamentals of Accountancy

4. Quantitative Aptitude


If yes then you are eligible for direct admission into Integrated Professional Competancy Course. The IPCC is second stage in which you will have to give 7 papers. These papers are divided into two groups:

Group 1

1. Accounting

2. Business Laws,Ethics and Communication

3. Cost Accounting and Financial Management

4. Taxation

5. Advanced Accounting

6. Auditing and Assurance

7. Information Technology and Strategic Management

The acronym for CA is Chartered Acountancy.

If, you have 55% marks in B.Com graduation, then you are eligible to take direct admission in IPCC for CA course.

If, any contendor has not 55% marks in B.Com graduation, then they will have to give CPT(Common Proficiency Test) for taking admission in IPCC.

CPT has four sections, which are divided into two groups are mentioned as below:-

* Mercentile law.

* Economics.

* Fundamentals of Accountancy.

* Quantitative aptitude.

After passing CPT, you are eligible for IPCC.

i have 55% marks in b.com but full paper in university per paper 50 number.in some university it is 75 so what to do.
