Can I write the entrance exam of CDS and NDA after completing class 12th?


Respected Sir, I am studying in class 12th at present and I want to write CDS and NDA. I want to know can I write the entrance exam of CDS and NDA after completing class 12th? Please answer as soon as possible.

CDS stands for the Combined Defense Academy, while NDA stands for the National Defense Academy.

You are eligible for the NDA entrance exam after completing 12th in science stream.

Eligibility for the NDA exam.

You should have 12th in Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics from recognized university.
Your age limit should be between 16.5 to 19.5 years.
You should have good communication skill.

There are following stages in the NDA exam
1. Written exam.
2. Personal & SSB interview
3. Physical and medical test.

If you want to join the CDS exam. Then you should have a graduation degree.

No you are not eligible for CDS exam after 12th.CDS stands for Common Defence Service entrance exam is conducted by UPSC twice in a year.

The minimum qualification for CDS is graduation.

After completing 12th you are eligible for NDA exam.

Age limit should be in between 16.5 to 19 years.

Only unmarried male candidates can apply.

You are eligible for NDA exam but you are not eligible for CDS exam.

NDA stands for National Defence Service exam.

Candidates who have completed the 12th standard from a recognized board or equivalent exam are eligible for NDA exam. Final year of 12th standard candidate are eligible for NDA exam. Your age should be in between to 16.5 years to 19.5 years.

Dear Friend,

After completing 12th you are eligible for giving NDA exam.

But for CDS exam you need to have completed graduation.

So as of now you can give only NDA exam.
