Hi dear..

Yes , you can write NDA (National Defense Academy ) exam conducted by UPSC twice every year.

The basic eligibility criteria is :-

> You should be citizen of India, or if you are a migrant of any other country like Nepal , Bhutan , Pakistan etc. then you must have come earlier than 1967 in India with an aim of permanently settling in India.

> You should be Unmarried male candidate within the age of 16.5 years to 19.5 years.

> For army :- passed +2 from any recognized state board or University

> For Navy/AIR force :- Passed +2 from any recognized board or University with Physics and Maths as compulsory Subjects.


> The Physical standards for NDA are given below :-






A ± 10% (A ± 6 Kg for Navy) departure from the average weight given in the table 1 above is to be considered within normal limit. However, in individuals with heavy bones and broad build as well as individuals with thin but otherwise healthy this may be relaxed to some extent on merit.

Note 1 : Height relaxable upto 2.5 cm (5 cm. for Navy) may be allowed where the Medical Board certifies that the candidate is likely to grow and come up to the required standard on completion of his training.

Note 2 : To meet special requirement as a pilot in the Air Force the acceptable measurements of leg length,

Hai Friend.........

you are not mentioned in your 12th you have mathematic subject in your 12th standard are not

The Minimum Eligibility for NDA : -

you must have 12th standard with mathematics one of the subject from any recognised university......

your age between 16.5 to 19 years, no relaxation for this examination

you should be a citizen of india

only unmarried male candidate are eligible for this examination.

Eligibility for NDA 2012 :
only unmarried male candidates born not earlier than 2nd July , 1993 & not later than 1st Jan , 1996 are eligible

Educational Qualification :

12th pass of the 10+2 pattern of school education or equivalent with physics & Mathematics
Candidates must be a Indian

Exam conducted following wings :

Indian Airforce
Indian Navy
Indian Army

NDA is stand for National Defence Academy.NDA exam exam is conducted by UPSC in twice time in a year.

Your age now 18 years old so you are applicable for NDA exam because the maximum age limit for this exam is 19 years old.

Academic qualification :You must passed your 12th standard examination.

Age criteria :Your age should be within 16.5 to 19 years.

Nationality :You must be an Indian

Only Unmarried candidate are eligible for NDA exam

Yes , there is negative marking.(.25 is deduct for wrong answer)
Exam Pattern :



NDA I Exam date already over so you can try for NDA II Exam.

EXAM DATE FOR NDA II EXAM:-

Date of commencement of notification : 05-05-2012
Last date for the receipt of completed application forms : 04-06-2012
Date of NDA II Exam : 19-08-2012

Information About NDA Exam :

Yes, you can write NDA stands for national defense academy conducted by the union public service commission under the defense sector exam for requiting the following three courses and they include..
  • Indian Army,
  • Indian Navy,
  • Indian Air Force.
Attending the NDA exam required educational qualifications are you must completed 10+2 from recognized board of intermediate, But required educational qualifications for requiting the indian army course you must completed the 10+2 with maths and physics and chemistry as a compulsory subjects from recognized board of intermediate and final year students are also eligible and required age limit should be 16 1/2 to 19 years and you must be unmarried male candidate and you must be physical fit according to govt rules.

The selection procedure for requiting the above courses is based on the common written exam i.e NDA Exam and this exam consists of 2 papers and apart from first paper is mathematics and second paper containing the general ability test and more information click bellow link www.upsc.gov.in

NDA(National Defence Academy) is conducted two times every year by the UPSC(Union Public Service Commission).

NDA has three wings:
Indian army,
Indian airforce,
Indian navy.

Educational qualification:
12th standard from a recognised state or central board.
Percentage is not required for this exam.
For airforce and navy wings you must have PCM subjects in 12th standard.

Age criteria:
Age limits is 16.5 years to 19 years.
There is no relaxation for OBC and SC/ST candidates.

Nationality:Citizen of india.

Important note:
Girls are not eligible for this exam, only unmarried male candidates are eligible.
You must be physically fit.

Selection procedure:
Written test,
SSB interview,
Medical test.

Definitely...You can join NDA after passing 12th standard with Art stream.

-> To join NDA, You will have to appear in NDA entrance exam conducted by Union
Public Service Commission{UPSC}.

-> There are three wings in NDA which are as Indian Army, Navy & Air Force. As an
Art student you can only apply for Indian Army post.

NOTE:- NDA is for Unmarried Male candidates only. Girls ar not allowed.


Requirements to Eligible for NDA Exam is as follows:

# You should have passed 12th standard from State board or recognized school.
For Indian Navy, Air Force- You must have passed 12th with Maths & Physics
Subjects. There is no percentage limit mentioned for this exam.

# If you are appearing in 12th then you can also apply.

# Your age must be between 16.5 to 19 year.

# You must be citizen of India.

you can give nda exam in 12th standard,but its only a special concession.
you have to give the proof of passing 12th by 11th june,2013.

moreover,your age should be between 16.5-19years.

and also,you cannot marry until you have completed your training..

I should tell you that you are eligible for NDA
Please go through these criteria details below :

1.Academic qualification :
The candidate should complete 12th standard examination

2.Age limitation :
The age of the candidate must be within 16.5 to 19 years.

3.Nationality :
The candidate must be an Indian

4.Eyesight criteria :
Eyesight of the candidate must be 6/6.

5.Height criteria :
The height of the candidate should be minimum 165 cm.
